CC: The media could not be loaded.  These are beautiful, sleek outdoors ceiling fans. We purchased 2 for our covered porch and they are exactly what we were expecting! Noise level is very low and hardly noticeable even when set upon the highest setting, as ours is. It moves a ton of air - especially at the highest setting ours is set on- and it helps keeps the mosquitoes away! My husband was able to install them fairly quickly without too much difficulty. He was also able to sync them together to a wall switch so they run simultaneously. However, without wiring them to their individual remotes, we are only able to leave it at the one desired speed - but we completely knew this was the case when we set it up to the wall switch vs. their individual remote controls. We’ve gotten so many compliments on the fans by neighbors walking by our house because they are so pretty. They are a great purchase and we would definitely recommend!

P. Blomberg: This is a beautiful quiet fan by Minka, a quality company. I love the understated look. I did not put a light kit on it. I don’t understand the reviews stating that the fan makes a lot of noise. Mine is whisper quiet. I had an electrician put it in for me and he said it was quite easy to install. I was actually impressed how fast he had it up since there was no electrical in my ceiling beforehand so he had to pull it through from somewhere else. The only thing I would change is the switch. It is awkward wherein “4” is the slowest speed and “1” is the fastest. Whoever thought that up was in upside down land for the day. It’s stupid. I actually thought the electrician made a mistake until I read it on here that others had it that way too. Other than that, the fan is perfect so far in the few months I’ve had it.

David IDavid I: I got the fan in black and let me tell you that this is a very modern looking fan which was my primary reason for buying it. It looks really good! Installation looked pretty straight forward and easy to put together. There is no pull string switch on the fan itself. Instead, it come with a 4 speed wall switch which is sort of ugly looking and unintuitive with 1 being the fastest, 4 being slowest. I tried changing the fan switch with the new Lutron Caseta fan switch and it did not work. Fan makes a low electric hum when on but not enough to bother me. Overall, I recommend this fan if you’re into the look.

Vanessa: I bought the oil-rubbed bronze fan. I wanted something that wasn't a distracting eyesore. This fan didn't disappoint. The design is simple, unobtrusive, & attractive. Its simple lines fit perfectly well in modern style homes as well as w- traditional, industrial, transitional, & farmhouse style decor.

I've read on some of the reviews that the blades were made of plastic. I can't speak about the other versions, but that is not the case w- the bronze version. The blades are made of a lightweight metal.
- The fan has 4 different speeds, stays quiet on each speed, & moves the air extremely well. I usually keep it on the lowest speed. You can control the speed from the wall switch, so there is no need to worry about reaching for those pesky cords to switch the speeds or looking at ugly cords & cord extensions.
- I have a low ceiling (8 ft) so I needed to make sure that the fan didn't hang too low. This ceiling fan is not a flush mount fan; however; it comes w- a short downrod that is well suited for low ceilings. Plus, the fan takes up less visual space than a flush mount would.
- Like most fans, it has a switch to reverse the spin direction. Just flip...
