bob: This thing is great, hook it up to your big truck tire and walk away and do some other jobs. Nails the right PSI everytime. Hose works for duals and end threads right on to the stem.

Este es (por lo menos cuando escribo este comentario). Si este es tu criterio, o bien necesitas un inflador de llantas para altas presiones, esta es tu opción, no busques más, y considerando el trabajo que hace, las bases de goma lo mantienen muy estable y es relativamente silencioso, relativamente siendo la palabra clave. No tengo dudas que la herramienta me durará muchos años.

No es ni el más compacto ni el más económico y aparte del costo de la herramienta, necesitas considerar el costo de una batería M18 Milwaukee, así como su cargador correspondiente (dejo a tu criterio, estimado lector, si quieres jugártela con baterías no originales). Considerando el gasto, si ahorras un poco puedes de una vez comprar una pistola de impacto de la misma marca que use este mismo modelo de baterías y hacer del cambio de una llanta un proceso prácticamente trivial.

Hace el mantenimiento de la presión de llanta sumamente conveniente, en tiempo de inflado es muy similar a las bombas disponibles en una gasolinera, con la ventaja de que puedes tomar la lectura al estar el auto "frío" lo recomendado...

J. Frazer: I use this for tire inflation, and water toy inflation. I have several other air compressors, from 80 gal to 4 gal pancake and in between. Other than air tools , i don't use them much anymore. IT turns out tire inflation is way easier without cords and big hoses. This was a great addition to my m18 tool arsenal.
It will not handle 80psi truck tires well, but does it. Best for 40psi and under. I have boats and pwcs on trailers that often need a tire pressure boost. This is my go to tool now. Its light weight and cordless and does the job better than a portable air tank. The auto stop at set pressure is nice. I would buy it again.

buyer 99.: I'd been looking at YouTube video reviews of various portable compressor/inflators and already owning a lot of Milwaukee 12 and 18 volt equipment and a pile of battery packs helped but the overall opinions were that this compressor is awesome so I bought it and they're absolutely right, it is awesome! It's a throw any of your 18 volt Milwaukee batteries in and just go. It's reasonably light, even with the giant 12 amp hour battery and I first ran it on a 5 amp hour one, did a 2 wheeled big fat tyred barrow that was dead flat, the 4 wheels on my tandem trailer, all 4 on my car with 20 inch wheels, my boat trailer and a 3 wheeled mobility scooter and also a 4 wheeled one and you just set the pressure and hit start. It pumps up surprisingly fast considering the apparent size of the piston or whatever it uses, it stops at a bit above usually and waits for things to equalize, not on a timer but by pressure change then puts any extra needed if any, on that fat tyred wheelbarrow there was a lot of air trapped between the tube and tyre so that took about 3 bursts to get right while some others only took one topup and a couple didn't need any.
