carlcarl: Cost of the vanity unit is fair when compared to what's about. Not too happy about the finishing as you can see paint drips and build up in areas, the only fortunate thing is that they are under the unit. The pilot holes or the screws need to be reviewed as the wood slightly splits on the draw when screwing together, and not exactly flush with the other panel. It comes with a modified Allen key with a cross head screwdriver end but personally you are better off with a stubby screwdriver, also the divot supplied cam screws can't hold a flat head screwdriver very well if needing to tighten the bolts but managed to get by. Overall though, my daughter loves it, it's holding together and looks good.

Jacilyn TJacilyn T: All in all, I'd recommend this item. The vanity was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The color is perfect and I enjoy that the mirror is detachable. Seems very practical for a 4th birthday present and my daughter is very happy.

Giving this a 3/5 stars simply because the mirror is weird -- it's not glass and it distorts the reflection which made my daughter sad. She cried because she thought she looked weird. Also, the mirror looks as if someone tried to clean it and there are scratch/scuff marks and the drawer handle had a paint flake.

Pamela: I did like the nice wood and sturdiness of the vanity set. My granddaughter loves it, and uses it often. The little drawer is Handy for her to place her nail polish and lip gloss. I worried abt the size but she is a healthy 5 year old and it was a nice fit for her & prob last her until she's 7 or so. The mirror was a bit disappointing to me because it seems to show a warped image. But it is mounted in a pretty pink frame with hearts and if I mention replacing the mirror,my granddaughter won't hear of it. I purchased a seperate hand mirror for her to use with it. She loves this set, and in the end that's what matters,esp since it's so well built and I expect it to last her for a couple years, I feel as if I got our money's worth. Enjoy!
