J JACQUES: Comfortable, fantastic quality and value.
Perfect color for my work and mostly waterproof.

I work as a fly fishing guide at a remote Alaskan lodge near Lake Iliamna.
Each morning I get on a bush plane and travel to even more remote locations.
If I don't have it with me it does not exist.

The uppermost pocket is perfect for my med kit right where it needs to be.
The main compartment is used for client lunches and the remaining space is used for fishing gear.
I always carry a three man survival kit stuffed in a dry bag which I sling below from the straps that are in place.

If I don't get picked up or things go wrong, my clients and I are 100% dependent on what I can do with what's on my back.
Remember when you get to the back woods you re-enter the food chain and we're made of meat.

This year I ended up stuck with 2 clients and a second guide for 12 hours. After the bush plane picked up the clients, we (the two guides) lived well for another 48 hours thanks to what I had in this pack.

Kyle: I bought this backpack as a bag for hiking and a Bug Out Bag when an emergency arises. It arrived in just over a week (California), not the 6-8 weeks quoted.

Upon inspection all the seams, zippers and material itself all look to be quality. I filled it up with all my gear and tried it on. Still comfortable, and I have no doubt that it will hold up during use. I'm happy i bought the 50L as I think the 30L may have been a little small for real camping/emergency usage. I feel I could fit a tarp, clothes, towel, bedroll, ammo and all the little accessories I need, PLUS strap stuff on the sides as needed.

There is molle webbing down the front on both pockets as pictured. There are also 2 rows near the back that extend from the bottom almost to the top. There is another row about half the height on the 2nd large compartment, and a row of webbing on the very bottom. The shoulder straps are very thick and well padded, with a D-ring on each side and 4 loops (open horizontally) from the vertical strap that is sewn onto them.. The surface/pocket that contacts your back and holds the water bladder is very well padded too. With a water pack inside, I imagine...

Nic-o-la-us: Where to begin?

I guess I'll just give this a quick pros vs. cons list and hope it helps anyone thinking about purchasing this backpack.

Pros-
*Well made
*Water resistant
*Many pockets and MOLLE attachment locations
*Zippers work very wll and almost never stick.
*The straps with quick connect/disconnect ends are adjusable in the extreme. (lots of extra slack)
*Very comfortable. Plenty of padding in the arm straps.
*My Laptop fits in the velcro slot undernead the arm straps (just barely 15.6 inch screen) **more on this in cons**
*Heavy duty waist belt strap keeps everything firmly attached to your body and not flopping around.

Cons-
*If you have a larger laptop (larger than 15.6 inch screen) or gaming laptop (wider) it won't fit in the location behind the arm straps. It will still fit in the main and secondary compartments but will most likely be bouncing around unless you strap it down or fill it with something to keep it from moving.
**I don't know if it was just me but this product took nearly a month and a half (39 days) to arrive. I am currently in Afghanistan but most products can make it here in apx 1-3...
