biker boy: Second replacement battery for my APC. I use the battery backup plugs for the VCR and DVD recorder, the surge protection plugs for the plasma flat screen, amplifier, and Blu Ray player. Worked great so far. I think the battery lasts about 3 years.

Retief: This arrived safely packaged and quite quickly. Just open up my APC UPS. Slid out the old battery. Disconnected the terminals. Got the new battery. Attached the terminals and slid it back in. Plugged the UPS back in and it was working again. Left it to charge for a couple of days. No complaints from it. Then plugged in some devices and it has been working ever since. Kept powering my NAS when the UPS was unplugged. Good to go for another couple of years (hopefully!) The battery was a perfect fit. Can't comment on longevity as it is now being put to the test.

David MevisDavid Mevis: Using the battery for a "portable solar generator" to recharge USB devices and amateur handitalkies. Small footprint mounted in the utility box I'm using and allowed a 10A charge controller, a multi-in/out device, AND a 10W 12V solar panel to all be mounted and stowed inside the utility box. The whole package is no bigger than a small "6-pack" cooler and all I have to do is remove the solar panel and plug it into the box to begin charging. The multi in/out also has a voltmeter I connected with a momentary on push-button, and twin USB outlets connected to the Load output of the charge controller allowing the USB outlets to be turned off. The battery is perfectly sized for this application!
