Legendary Salmon: Battery is as described. I actually bought this to put in my pa system, by I mis-measured and it was way to big. In a stroke of luck, it fit perfectly in my garage door opener which had its backup battery die a year ago.
It is standing up to use pretty well, which I would expect from this brand. I'll update if it died rematurely but I'd say a solid buy right now.

jjflash15: We still use an old security system as a secondary siren as it activates immediately on an entry. Recently, I got a beep-beep-beep notification that the old battery was weak. I thought this might be the end of our secondary alarm system since I expected the replacement battery would be expensive. I was so surprised to find this one for under 20 bucks and it arrived in a matter of days. After installing, which was easy, it took about a day for the 2 control panels to drop the "BAT" icon and now my old system operates with new crispness.
