Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This is the third time I have ordered one of these playpens. Unfortunately, I gave the other two away thinking I’d never have another puppy. The second one was for another puppy! Not only is this great for puppies, but it is great when you have to keep a dog in confinement. I had to purchase a third one because our buff cocker spaniel was diagnosed with intravertebral disc disease and has to be confined to a small area for 4 to 6 weeks.. When she’s not sitting in our laps, this pen comes in handy. As you can see, her black sister cocker loves keeping her company. It’s easy to set up and folds right up for storage. You never know what’s gonna come up with your dog, so I’ll definitely be hanging onto this one.

KJ: 48" tall foldable pen is good quality, arrives assembled, and simple to set up. It is well made, but 4 stars because the packaging doesn't protect it well in shipping, it was bent in a few spots - and this one was the replacement product. The first one we returned because of scrapes and corrosion in several places where the box was broken apart. I would order this again & recommend it. The same pen in 24" tall we purchased last year has been outside and still in perfect condition - the packaging held up fine on that size.

Rich: We had no fence at the rear of our yard, so we bought 3 of these and connected them with zip-ties so they could span the length. We are often visited by 5 Chihuahuas, 1 big 'mut', a weiner-dog and a Grand Pyr (not all at the same time) and they all stay put in our yard. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!

Dani: I was up for 48 hours straight with a two-month-old beagle, and was far beyond my stress limit (iykyk). I did not like confining her to her crate because she lived in a crate in the shelter, and she is home now, so that felt wrong. However, it meant that she was constantly soiling anywhere she could and whining like she was being abused because she was too little to jump up on the couch. Having a playpen like this lets me do things like eating and taking a shower without constantly having to go run and check on her. This product saved me from returning my new puppy to the shelter.

It comes mostly assembled, and was vetted easy to set up (I did not use the stakes, but did put a rubber backed rug under it).It probably wouldn’t stand up to a very large dog, but it does seem relatively sturdy and well-made. I am using it indoors so I don’t think it’s likely that it will rust, but I wouldn’t leave it out in the rain. I also like that the gold color means it doesn’t look “out of place” in my living room.

Brielle PinegarBrielle Pinegar: Everything about owning a young puppy is about controlling the environment. When I first got my pup, Cow, I quickly realized I needed a space for him to play on his own without having access to everything around him. We are crate training, but sometimes he needs more room and to still be a part of the group. For the price, this is amazing. I love how easy it is to move around the house and it even comes with stakes for keeping in place outdoors.

For a bigger dog, they may be able to push the fence around a little bit. Cow shifts the pen when he jumps, but hadn’t tried or discovered trying to push it. This could be be prevented by mounting it with a carabiner to something.

Now that Cow is getting a little bigger and is proving he can handle more space independently, I want to get a second one to expand his space even further. (Fingers crossed no more potty accidents!!)

We also have two cats, we’ve extended this pen to block sections of the house and act kind of like a baby gate. This has helped Cow stay contained and our cats feel secure as they adjust to the newest member of our family. Definitely would buy again and would recommend!!

T: Very nice gate that does what needs to be done. It can be used to block entrance ways for dogs or any pets if you want to train a pet to not enter a certain room. I have used it for an extention for my bunny's play area so that she doesn't have to be stuck in her cage all day long. It gives my rabbit the freedom to roam safely in an enclosed space and able to go into her cage freely. It is quite big in terms of the amount of space it takes up. It takes up a good chunk of a corner of any room. It is nice that you can change the shape or the size of the enclosure depending on how you decide to fold the pieces of the gate. Only downside is the gate is very heavy to carry when folded up all together. It is easy to move one panel or two panels at a time, but if you need to transport the entire gate around, it will be heavy to lift and carry by one person. The door is simple. Has a slide up and down lock to keep the door closed. When the door opens, it doesn't open up fully at the bottom. The bottom portion is solid. It is only a small portion. But the rest of the door will open up to the top and swing completely open. So it can be a bit of a trip hazard if you forget it is not a full...
