Each group had a radio and we were to check in at a given time to be able to find each other in a vast expanse. Each of us had a charging plug (one 12vdc and one 120vac is included). I assumed we could plug it in directly to a handset and recharge the battery. Unfortunately, there is not a charge port on the headset. I discovered that the only way to recharge a unit was with the double slot charging cradle - of which there is only one. That means, someone in another location cannot recharge their unit. The only solution is to remove the rechargeable battery and replace it with three AA alkalines. This is a tremendously poor design! Looking at the options, the only solution is to purchase and extra double slot cradle, if you can find one. Otherwise, they do the job required of them, but this flaw is unforgivable.

Juan Pedro castellanos: Escelente equipo, se nota la calidad que te ofrece la marca, el único inconveniente es que las baterías recargables de fábrica no son de un mayor tiempo de uso.

Arnell: I like these two-way radios for general use. I think most people have overly ambitious expectations for these radios, but based on my expectations, these work great. Overall, this is a good product if you have a decent understanding for what these types of handhelds are capable of. If you are expecting long distance communications over a mile, continue to read my full review to help expectations. For the build quality, value, and performance, I would recommend. The biggest issue is the battery performance, which should be supplemented with larger mAH rechargeables. Overall, still a good product.
Build quality: For the most part, the build is good, but not entirely waterproof. You may pay more for waterproof radios, but it's not always necessary. They're rated as waterproof, but I would consider these more of "weatherproof" where they can be used in rainy weather and should never be submerged and may be damaged if they're submerged for more than a few seconds (enough to pick it out of the water). They're built of plastic like most radios of this quality, so they'll handle most bumps, low drops, and dings for outdoor use.
Ease of use: Depending on your experience on...

Nozama: I think these have good features for a 'bubble pack' FRS/GMRS-only radio, I can't speak for the long term quality or reliability because I have not owned them long or used them much. I initially got another set that barely transmitted - so I had to return those, but the replacements I got are working good.
Unless you have a nice ham HT that you like, I personally think everyone should have a pair of these:
*they have the ~highest power that bubble pack radios have
*the charger can plug into a house outlet or it can plug into a car 12v plug (if the power went out you could recharge these radios via your car 12v plug and keep them running for about a week or so I figure)
*they can plug into a house outlet with the battery removed so you can keep it on listen/scan mode all the time around the clock without worry of overcharging/overheating the battery, great for neighborhood watch/security use
*bubble packs in general are so easy to use anyone can use them without any learning curve
*they run off 4 AA alkaline batteries as well as the Ni-MH rechargeable battery
*they seem to run off 4 AA Ni-MH rechargable batteries as well, I tested it quick but did not do...

Kyle: Although a little pricy compared to the typical walkie talkies out there, these work amazing! We use them up in the mountains when at the cabin which had all sorts of terrain and trees. Had no problem reaching each other a couple miles away. We also took them on a cruise and they worked amazing! We were able to hear each other from our room on the 2nd level to the top deck and from one end to the other. The private channels were perfect and we never had any interruptions. The batteries didn't last as much as I'd like, so we had to charge them every night. If used a lot, you would probably have to charge it mid day. For our use, it was perfect!
