KESQ: This roof top luggage Case passed the 600 mile road trip test. I had my neighbor put it on top of my compact SUV for me and although it is really a two man job, it takes just about 15min to put on. If you have cross bar roof racks ,I think the fit is better. You really won't need the roof pad that is supposed to go under the luggage. The look is sleek and head turning with its Contemporary design. Make sure to pack it thoroughly so to prevent any wind from sailing through while you travel up to speeds of 80mph. Loose Pocket noise is a nuisance. This option is great for independent road masters who enjoy occasional trips just about anywhere. Oh last but not least, it holds up nicely in the rain!!!

Brandon: Only used for one trip so far but went 2k miles in driving rain and everything stayed dry. The bag is huge compared to our old one and fit everything we needed for a family of 5 for 10 days. Does not fit in our roof rack so had to remove it but that turned out to be a plus because it fit everything. We will see how long it lasts but so far very happy with the purchase.

Shella: This MIDEABAQ luggage Roof Carrier arrived the next day. Fitting perfectly on the top of our X7 Beemer. We were leaving on a road trip in 2 days and we needed space for luggage. There were 6 of us traveling and no luggage space. We put 4 suitcases, small and medium plus some gym like bags along with some groceries. We drove Interstate for 5-6 hours with no problem. I do have rack style but this also comes with extra equipment/supplies for you to use if you do not have a rack on top of your car. THis is rainproof which is important since we live in the Pacific Northwest. When we arrived back from the trip we folded to fit once again in its made to fit Zippered bag. I highly recommend and would answer any questions you may have for your road trip!

Matt: I used this to carry some toys and books from MO to OK. One of the books did get wet but the bag stayed secured the entire trip.

Ken Birzil: Bought this item for holiday travels 2021. Five hour drive through snow and wet weather but all of our luggage arrived dry. The unit was easy to install on our Toyota Highlander with roof rack. The material is thick ripstop nylon and the seams are all sealed. Zippers are fairly beefy and of decent quality. The roof liner/protector is a nice addition. You can pack quite a bit of luggage in the unit. The only negative aspect was when one of the extra lengths of strap got caught in the car door after a gas stop and conducted the rain by osmosis into the car. That was easy to fix, but it does make me wonder how you keep the wet out if you’re using the non-roof rack method where the straps need to run inside the car windows. Only other gripe is that - as with most blowup beds, furniture covers, etc - it’s impossible to ever fold the item down so that it fits in the carrying case they give you. Why not make those a little roomier? That said, very happy with this product so far.

FrankFrank: I purchased this model because of the storage capacity and whetherproofness. I am quite content with the expirience I had. I drove from Québec to British Columbia (5 000 km) and it did the trick. As you can guess I encountered various weather conditions from heavy rain to snow to hailing and gust winds of 100+ km/h. This was in end of March/ beginning of April, so probably the worst roadtrip conditions you can have if you are croscontrying Canada. The bag holded on surprisingly well on the roof, I only used the factory benders that came with it and did not move at all, nor did I have to tightened them.

I could fit two summer tires, camping gears/ chairs, many loose things, and lots of blankets on purpose just to see if it really was waterproof. After 4 days of pretty much all the weather you can possibly think you can drive through (including a bad snow/rain storm) it was only humid at the bottom of it but remained dry. So yes it is water proof if you install it properly.

Of course it did slowdown my car as it was heavy and wind gusts are pretty bad near the great lakes. Although I wasn't expecting anything less since I drive Ford Fusion, not pick-up...
