Janet S.: This unit has battery saver on by default, which limits the power consumption of the Bluetooth radio. If you get disconnected for out of range, try adjusting that battery thing.
I've had 2 surface pro 7's at work, bought one for myself for personal use after finding out how awesome they are. This one is my husband's - he loves it too.

Rw3: The Surface Pro 8 was delivered toda, early. It was marked "Used - Very Good", but everything about it is Like New. It also came with Windows 11 Pro, when Amazon's listing for the "New" item says Windows 11 Home. Totally satisfied. Thank you ARF Tech.

TheTechieGeek: So I am OS agnostic but if forced to prefer an OS it would be Linux. That being said I need to work in Windows a lot. I was going to buy a laptop but began to think about the advantages of the tablet form factor. After weighing the pros-and-cons I went for the Windows Surface Pro 8 because there are no decent Linux tablets available and having tested my wife's iPad I was not interested in one of those. I also purchased the flip down keyboard/cover which is a must for my use cases. Long story short I was very pleasantly surprised by the display, performance, battery life, and form-factor with the fold down keyboard. HIINT: Make sure you order the keyboard for the "Surface 8 Pro" there are several older ones that look the same but will not work on the Surface Pro 8.

You wouldn’t want to use it for heavy gaming or design because its graphics card isn’t that great, but it gets you by from your day to day life as well.
Overall a quality product and worth its price.
