Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15.6" Laptop with Full HD 1080P Touchscreen Display

jenngin: I have had this laptop for 11 months as of this writing. I am fairly pleased with it. However, if I had to regularly depend on the battery life, I would be very disappointed. I think Lenovo claims about 7 hours of battery life on this laptop, which has not been my experience. Perhaps it had that kind of battery in the first month, although I am unsure if it did even then. The only thing I can think of that may have dampened the life of the battery is perhaps 'overcharging' it. I am guilty of plugging it in and then not remembering it until the next day, or charging it overnight. That may be a big no-no in the computer world, but I wonder: should I be setting a timer to unplug things after I start charging them? That's pretty inconvenient. At any rate, at 630pm, the laptop had a full charge, and by 930pm, the battery saving mode kicked in, with 20% charge remaining. I would not recommend this laptop if you needed to use it on battery for longer periods, or you'll be looking for an outlet to charge it.

Johacamil: Tengo q admitir que al principio no estaba convencida del todo con esta laptop… pero a superado mis espectativas es súper rápida, la batería dura casi dos días. En tamaño pensé q se vería muy grande ya q tenía una de 14” pero la verdad es q casi no e sentido la diferencia el teclado retro iluminado funciona a la perfección cuando estamos en una área no muy clara… en fin creo q es una d ellas mejores compras q e realizado en Laptos 100% recomendada

The USB C port is NOT a 3.2 (meaning it doesn't support USB C charging-- this was sort of important to me so that I can use my phone charger for my laptop too). Additionally, the wifi card does NOT support Wifi6 (802.11AX).

Richard: Just got this product the previous day and it has been superb thus. I’ve ha dont previous Lenovo laptop for 6 years. Was close to getting an HP laptop but chose to get another Lenovo. It blows me away how fast this laptop boots up. In 1-2 minutes it boots up for use. Previous laptop took 5-10 minutes on a good day. It’s so responsive with incredible display. Touch screen is a plus as well.

2 week update: only grip i got is battery life. Not a big one. Otherwise this is still a great product.

Likes:
1. The keyboard is nice to type on. At least compared to most laptops I've used. Nothing like a mechanical keyboard though.
2. The bios has decent options. I don't like fan sounds and I was able to put it into a battery saver mode that keeps things cool enough so the fan doesn't kick on very often.
3. It's pretty snappy. Especially coming in and out of hibernation.
4. The price was right. I use this as a secondary computer that I use on the couch. I have a beefy desktop for work, and media creation. This is the largest factor that contributed to 4 stars instead of 3.
5. The keyboard is backlit, but it has to be turned on with fn + Space

Dislikes:
1. All the plastic. I'm not a fan of plastic chassis. The laptop feels cheaper than the internal components would lead you to believe.
2. It said Wifi 6, but it is definitely not. I've updated drivers to no avail. The card registers as "ac" in device manager, not "ax".
3. The screen. While large and bright, the color accuracy is atrocious. I would never work in Lightroom or Photoshop on this display....
