Jenna: I remember seeing this book and excerpts from it on Tumblr many moons ago, it seemed fate that it came up as a suggested book for me. It exceeded all of my expectations and I look forward to reading more of Michael’s work.

LG: This book has some nice poems and thoughts within it. I just felt like i was reading different versions of the same thing quite a few times. A lot of the same use of words etc which is not my personal favourite. Overall its a nice read.

Carlita Is Fun: The first book I got shipped was in pretty horrible conditions for being a new copy. However, I returned the book and they send me a new copy!
Now, I have read some of the poems and I personally like it. In my opinion the poems in this book touch on all the components of "love" such as Lust, Desire, The feeling of love and the hopeless feeling of loss and heart break.

Jess: I had gotten little snippets of this poet before I bought this book so I expected to like it more than I did. I feel like the title should only have the first word in it, "dirty". That being said, there is nothing wrong with a little sexy verse now and then. It brings a reality and a romance to poetry. But I felt that Faudet's stuff was over the top. It was more indecent than it was sexy. That is not the biggest let down of this book though. The biggest let down was the whole feel and style of the poems. I personally enjoy poetry with a little bit of magic to it. I like mystery and the ability to wonder what I'm reading about. Reading poetry should be like hearing a phone conversation from only one person. It allows you to understand the feelings, then fill in your own words to make a full picture. I felt like the poems in this book were a whiskey stained ode to the authors crazy and frankly dull adventures, mostly in the bedroom with past muses. There can be magic in empty drink glasses, stale cigarettes and lipstick stains on pillows, I just think that Faudet doesn't believe there is, and that shows in his writing.

Amazon Customer: THIS BOOK IS AMAZING :O A really cheeky but beautiful attribute to my books - it's nice when you want to read something that isn't that long in length like a normal book - and good if you just want a change. Some of the stuff in this book made me giggle, and feel overall really happy - great book, I have been waiting to read this for a long time and I am so glad that I did :')

Candace: I was slightly disappointed overall. I was really excited about this book after reading a few poems by Faudet on tumblr, but as it turned out, those few lovely gems I had found before actually buying the book were the only bits worth reading. I found myself flipping through page after page, wishing I'd read more material along the lines of Stars:
Magic tumbled from her pretty lips, and when she spoke the language of the universe, the stars sighed in unison.
What beautiful, sweeping, romantic imagery! Too bad the majority of his work lacks that same oomph; if I read "wet cotton panties" one more time I'm gonna scream. I will say that I love his use of wordplay in many of his poems, and I did like all of his prose! If he wrote a book of prose, I could probably read it all day. Apart from that, it kind of felt like sifting through a bunch of junk to find hidden treasures within.
