dave91169: This might reduce the noise level a bit, but other parts make much more noise than air intake. It’s job is to filter the intake air; should work well. Don’t think this would work well on a large compressor; not enough intake holes.

The male threaded part is just a bit too big in diameter.
The filter seems ok otherwise, just didnt fit mine. It has to be rated to submit review so disregard that.

Himmi: Super schneller Versand, ich hab ihn als Ersatz für den zerbröselnden Original Kunststoffansaugfilter von meinem Scheppach Kompressor gekauft. Er ist zwar kürzer als das Original, aber das kann man mit handelsüblichen Hahnverlängerungen, zum Beispiel 1/2“ x 30mm ausgleichen, dieser Filter besitzt ein zerlegbares Metallgehäuse mit Papiereinsatz, der sich somit reinigen oder wechseln lässt. Das Gewinde ist normales 1/2“ (Zoll/inch) whitworth oder Rohrgewinde, das also auch mit Dichtungsmaterial, wie Hanf oder Teflonband, abgedichtet werden sollte, falls es zu sehr großen Undichtigkeiten kommt, ist aber kein muss. Für mich vollkommen ok, macht was er soll👍🏻

Chiquitin: Lo que no me ha gustado es que mienten, es un filtro y aparentemente muy bueno, pero no es silenciador, un silenciador se coloca a la salida de algo, como un tubo de escape y no en la entrada, como filtro me gusta porque el original era de plastico que se partió el primer día de uso y este es de metal.
