Zac: I recently purchased the Meross Smart Plug Mini, and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed with this product. Not only does it offer an impressive range of features, but it's also incredibly reliable and stable within my HomeKit network.
One of the things I love most about this smart plug is how easy it was to set up. All I had to do was download the Meross app, connect the plug to my Wi-Fi network, and voila - it was ready to use. From there, I was able to control the plug using the app, as well as through Siri, Alexa, Echo, Google Assistant, and Nest Hub. It's incredibly convenient to be able to control my devices with my voice, and I love that I can do it all from one app.
The reliability of these smart plugs is also really impressive. I have over 50 devices in my HomeKit network, and these plugs have never given me any issues or dropped connections. They always work exactly as intended, which is a huge plus.
Another great feature of these smart plugs is the timer function. I love being able to set a schedule for my devices to turn on and off, which saves me time and energy. It's also helpful for when I'm away from home and want to give the impression...

T. T.: First of all, these work great and I'd certainly buy again. I got them because I have a few in-wall Meross dimmer switches, and figured why install another app!
I ran into an issue during setup, but found a solution and wanted to make people aware here:
I was able to add the switch in homekit and have it respond, but as soon as I tried to add it in the Meross app, it would restart, and not reconnect to Wifi (the light would just blink and blink).
The solution? Be really patient! After resetting and restarting a bunch of times, I finally just paired with homekit, added in Meross, and WAITED. It sat there for over an hour blinking, then finally connected, appeared in the Meross app, and was able to install firmware updates. No further issues.
TL;DR -- just let it sit!

Matthew Ferguson: These plugs work as you’d expect once setup. They react VERY quickly through HomeKit when working with automations, Siri, or manual control through the Home app or the Meross App.
Setup:
This was the most involved part. As others have stated, HomeKit setup can be a little tricky if you haven’t done it before, that being said I didn’t run into nearly as many issues as other reviewers seemed to have had. I setup directly as a HomeKit device through the Meross app following the on screen HomeKit prompts. I also set up the devices in a kitchen outlet first so I don’t have to bend over behind a couch for the initial setup. This also allowed me to keep the phone within a foot of the device for setup which seemed to help. The first time I tried I was standing 6 feet away with my phone in my hand and it didn’t complete the setup, the please wait wheel just kept spinning. Once I left the phone on the counter directly under the plug (~1ft away) it setup instantly, the HomeKit prompts do tell you to stay “close” to the device while setting up. Each plug must be set up individually, as such I recommend doing just one at a time so you don’t get confused about...

FrankC: This is one of the more affordable smart plug for homekit on the market and hence was giving it a try. I was hoping it went well so that would replace my light switch with Meross as well. Sadly it didn't go as plan.
I received 2 smart plugs towards end of Sept and I used it right away. The setup was easy and I was amazed that it was so quick to set it up and get it going. Fast-forward to 1st week of Nov (after around 6 weeks of usage), one of it stopped responding. I left it as-is for few days but the problem persisted.
I reset the plug and tried to set it up again. It seems the Meross app has changed that I have to setup directly using Apple Home App (back in Sept during the initial setup, I can setup via Meross app first and the integrated with Home App, this seemed to have changed apparently). I have tried many times, resetting the plug, reboot my iPhone, etc. I couldn't get it added back with "unreachable to device".
Given that my 2nd plug is still working and there's no change in wifi configuration, I guess it's the faulty item. I tried to get hold of Meross support via email. I sent emails 3 times (2 with safari browser and 1 with chrome browser. There's...

Steven YatesSteven Yates: I was provided this product for review.
I already have a myriad of Meross Smart Switches, Wall Switches and the Garage Door system, and have had no problems with the setup using the Meross App and Google Home.
The MSS110HK smart switch also provides support for Apple HomeKit as well as the standard Meross app and Google Home (and Alexa). I do not own an Apple TV or HomePod - this test is purely a local installation against my iPhone X - no remote capabilities were tested.
I decided to follow the instructions explicitly - as the enclosed booklet recommended. First was setting up HomeKit, then they recommend setting up the Meross App afterwards.
I turned off my 5GHz wifi access range as recommended - and left just the 2.4GHz running. I made sure my iPhone X (iOS 13.5.1) was connected to the 2.4GHz band. My wifi is an Archer C7 running OpenWRT 19.07.3.
I plugged in the smart switch to the power socket and it started the usual setup - the led flashes between green and orange indicating it's ready. You then start the Home iOS app on your phone and press Add Accessory. You take a photo of the 2D barcode on the smart switch itself and it thinks for a...
