bbd: This is my second Meross outdoor plug I’ve purchased. Easy setup with QR code to Apple HomeKit and works perfectly in outdoor gardens for fountains. Winter time, they are used to control door Christmas lights. Having two separate control outlets is great feature. Highly recommend!

Denise: Each of the sockets must be programmed separately which is something that I initially didn’t understand. It took me two days to figure out why my one sets of Christmas lights weren’t responding to the routine I programmed and I had to manually press the off/on bottom. Absolutely love the brand.

Zforlife: We replaced our iDevices outdoor plug which finally stopped working after a few years of annoying behaviour. This took about 2 minutes to setup. Plugged it in and within seconds of connecting to it's built in wifi, Apple Home prompted me to "setup and add to home". After a minute, it was done and working.

It's great that both plugs are separate accessories as we have giant outdoor inflatables and lights for decorations. The inflatables are on a separate extension cord so we can turn them off if it's windy but keep the lights on.

It's smaller than I thought but works flawlessly.

AMS: I've been using Meross outdoor plug for a few years now and it has worked flawlessly. I've never had issues with signals, unlike other brands which has issues connecting to my router on a Mesh Network (since it does not have a 2.4 and 5 ghz signal separate)
Unfortunately, my outdoor plug (it was an older model) just stopped working a while ago. I can't figure out what happened but it served me for 4 years so no complaint. I ordered the newer model and it has been working great. Price seems to be great for a 2 outlet smart plug with homekit compatibility.

KrazyKrycek: I bought his for my Halloween decorations and love it so far. You have to download the Meross app. It allows you to run your lights on a schedule which is what I wanted it for. It works works on your wifi but also works on your cellular signal. So if you want to turn the switch on or off you can via WiFi but I noticed it also works on just data if you turn off your wifi on your phone which is awesome..

Chuck Miller: I have a remote router in another state that sometimes needs to be reset. The problem is getting someone to reset it in a timely fashion. So simple solution is to just reset it (power cycle) every day at 4am. Router has not hung up or failed since. This does exactly what I need. Easy to set and manage over Internet. It checks all my boxes.
Very reliable, has not failed in the nearly 1 yr I've been using it.
Got the idea from a friend whose server had a memory leak that he just could not find, so every couple days he had to reboot. So he set this up to auto reboot in middle of night.
Will also be getting one for XMas lights, and car chargers (turn on charger once a month for an hour, keeps battery fresh and ready to use when I get there.

Pragmatic in CT: I have a number of Meross controllers. I decided they were good enough for my needs, so I have standardized on this brand. There is enough functionality in the various models to allow me to expand as my needs grow.
The good:
Easy to install and set up. I can control it with my Alexa units and/or with my phone or tablet from anywhere in the world.
All the units I have purchased so far are still operational. Reliable.
The bad:
This 2-outlet unit has protective plugs that get in the way and make plugging adjacent stuff difficult. This is not the case with the 3-outlet model, the dummy plugs are out of the way and do not interfere with each other.

SBSB: Meross did it again. Another great product, and keeping up with the times, another product with HomeKit compatibility!

Right before the holiday season comes this product which is perfect for setting up timers and remote on/off capabilities for Halloween and Christmas light. I also use it for a birdbath/fountain that I keep on during the day.

The new Meross products are having HomeKit compatibility,along with Alexa and Google Home support. The new devices are even supporting mesh router, which is great for outdoor plugs, since mesh routers are sometimes needed to have wifi access outside the house. Just remember one thing, while setting up the plugs, disable 5GHz in the router. Once set up is complete using 2.4 GHz, 5GHz can be turned back on.

The device shows up as one icon in HomeKit and Meross app, but once the icon is tapped, the app shows individual outlets for fine grained control. The two outlets can be turned on or off individually. Also, the outlet can be programmed using IFTTT where either the whole outlet (both receptacles) or each receptacle can be programmed to turn on or off. There is a switch on the outlet to turn both receptacles on of off...
