Roger Baxter: I am a big fan of Meross plugin control devices. I have many of several different types: single outlet plugs, dual outlet plugs, quad outlet power strips, outdoor multi outlet devices, dimming devices, … and now wired in switches to control various house light circuits. Once you have their app installed and the first controller setup from then on each new device is almost automatically installed.

With these Meross circuit controllers I am able to operate them independently or in groups (called “scenes”) by voice (via Alexa), by remote control (via the Meross app), by schedule (in the Meross app), or by other linked smart home apps.

Not only has all of this system encompassing over 30 devices worked flawlessly for me for over two years now, the Meross products are priced very competitively when compared with other similar products. I can’t say enough good about them.

Paul: These are fine if/when you finally get them working but the meross app is pathetic at getting this done. Even though most people won't try to use the app until the devices are installed it forces you to click through dozens of steps on how to wire them into the wall. If you have no idea what you're doing and need these then they are just good enough to get you into trouble but will leave most novices hanging on actually getting the job done and needing an electrician, ambulance or fire department. After each device is wired in, you have to set it up in the app immediately, if the app can find two or more devices at once it won't connect to any of them no matter which you select. After you select the one device that has power, it will connect and tell you it's connected, then immediately disconnects without telling you and makes you wait for it to timeout before you can manually connect your phone to the device and setting your phone to "automatically connect to this network" before hitting try again where the meross app will disconnect to start the try, connect and disconnect the same as it did before but now your phone will reconnect before the app times out so it finally lets...

ToMaTo: I love the products from merros. But some of the products have issues with mesh networks. They appear and disappear from the app every so often,, and there seems no solution. Support is helpful, but doesn't have a solution. Nevertheless a good product.

Carl ReviewsCarl Reviews: The media could not be loaded.  The Meross Smart WiFi Wall Switch is an amazing product! This is the best bang-for-your-buck smart switch that I’ve tested so far!

Installation was a breeze and included all the necessary screws, wire nuts, and wall plates. Once the switch is installed, it is incredibly responsive when physically pushed and through the app. Other thoughts:

PROS:
• Price, Price, Price. These switches are an incredible value! Especially since they can be integrated with Alexa, G- Assistant, and IFTTT.
• Pressing the switch turns on/off the lights instantly. I've noticed that some switches (like Legrand) can have about a 1 second delay before the lights turn on/off. That delay can make using the switch feel a little awkward.
• There is a setting in the app to turn off the LED indicator! This is a simple feature but many smart switches (Kasa and Legrand) don't offer it.
• The app is easy to use. It has great features but not too many.

CONS:
• No native Apple Homekit support. Though, I wouldn't expect that at this price. (I am currently using this switch with Apple Homekit via Homebridge and it's working...

Eric: I really wanted to like this product. It's priced very well, seems very well built, has all the righ compatibilities (google, Alexa, IFTTT), sleek look with a touch interface rather than push button, and wifi indicator to let you know it got connectivity. And fits a standard decora plate, although a nice sleek one is also included. Meross support were also very prompt to reply to an email inquiry regarding the other product's compatibility and limitations.

Downsides (to my needs):
-I had to return a different meross product, not due to defect, but their 3 way switch isn't compatible with dimmers. Worth keeping in mind if you intend to keep your device setup simple and streamlined, as nobody likes to use a bunch of different apps. (You could use iFTTT but I found there was a bit of a delay where native app and google assistant are instant)
-I've since replaced that other one with a Lutron Caseta kit, which while more expensive, does a lot more.
-Requires a neutral wire, wasn't an issue for me, however some don't (such as the Lutron) - This could translate to higher costs of an electrician is needed.
-The light shows as an outlet in google assistant (not a real...
