willie: The silicone plug covers are difficult to put in and the directions for linking with Alexa are confusing. Still won’t connect with Alexa. My old one was better at that. Meross also but the square one. Right now I have it working through the home app on my phone.

Dianne: I currently have two of these...one for my back lights and the other for my Christmas lights in the front. The thing I like most is for them to come on at sunset. I currently have them go off at 10 pm (Any time can be set for on & off including on at sunset and off at sunrise). I can also have Alexa turn them on and off.

Zforlife: We replaced our iDevices outdoor plug which finally stopped working after a few years of annoying behaviour. This took about 2 minutes to setup. Plugged it in and within seconds of connecting to it's built in wifi, Apple Home prompted me to "setup and add to home". After a minute, it was done and working.

It's great that both plugs are separate accessories as we have giant outdoor inflatables and lights for decorations. The inflatables are on a separate extension cord so we can turn them off if it's windy but keep the lights on.

It's smaller than I thought but works flawlessly.

AMS: I've been using Meross outdoor plug for a few years now and it has worked flawlessly. I've never had issues with signals, unlike other brands which has issues connecting to my router on a Mesh Network (since it does not have a 2.4 and 5 ghz signal separate)
Unfortunately, my outdoor plug (it was an older model) just stopped working a while ago. I can't figure out what happened but it served me for 4 years so no complaint. I ordered the newer model and it has been working great. Price seems to be great for a 2 outlet smart plug with homekit compatibility.

Phillip Robino: I use this for my Christmas lights. I have an automation in my Apple HomeKit where at sunset it turns on the lights and then at midnight they automatically turn off. Also kind of fun I can show off to the neighbors that I can control my Christmas lights with my phone. They always are so amazed, little do they know it’s a small little box.

KrazyKrycek: I bought his for my Halloween decorations and love it so far. You have to download the Meross app. It allows you to run your lights on a schedule which is what I wanted it for. It works works on your wifi but also works on your cellular signal. So if you want to turn the switch on or off you can via WiFi but I noticed it also works on just data if you turn off your wifi on your phone which is awesome..

Chuck Miller: I have a remote router in another state that sometimes needs to be reset. The problem is getting someone to reset it in a timely fashion. So simple solution is to just reset it (power cycle) every day at 4am. Router has not hung up or failed since. This does exactly what I need. Easy to set and manage over Internet. It checks all my boxes.
Very reliable, has not failed in the nearly 1 yr I've been using it.
Got the idea from a friend whose server had a memory leak that he just could not find, so every couple days he had to reboot. So he set this up to auto reboot in middle of night.
Will also be getting one for XMas lights, and car chargers (turn on charger once a month for an hour, keeps battery fresh and ready to use when I get there.
