Amazon Customer JayJay: I despair of finding a case/carton of cat food that I don't have to throw away (or feed to the coon) 1/3 of the case. I have the pickiest cats in Texas! They will not eat beef at all. They no longer like tuna. They have never liked salmon or shrimp and they prefer pate, but will usually eat the Rachel Raye chicken dinners, except the chicken and liver.. They love the Meow Mix Pate Toppers Chicken and Whitefish, but bury the Salmon. There must be a brand of cat food out there somewhere that Molly and Dexter will eat all of and snub none!

Cherie J.: When one observes their pets feeding, they notice if they are truly finicky. One of my cats are exactly that. 💯😾 He seems to only like the Salmon flavor, and leaves the rest for his brother and Mister Tibbs.
But, 2 out of three isn't bad. **What I cannot understand is why they rarely finish a serving. I'm guessing it's that "finicky thing" Cats display. I like that it's neat and easy to serve, and the cups are recycled here in our area. 👏🤗

MurphysLaw: My cat loves this stuff but I have two issues with it.
First, I don't trust the foil seals they use. I opened one container that appeared to be completely sealed but the food inside smelled bad - even worse than cat food usually smells. I inspected the foil lid and found a tiny pinhole that was only visible from the underside due to the colorful markings on the top of the foil. The food had spoiled as a result and if I had fed it to the cat it would have made him very ill or worse. This food very little liquid so there was no leaking or any way to tell the packaging was damaged. This is an issue for any food that is served with foil lids so it is not exclusive to this brand.
The second issue I have is that this food contains carrageenan, which is suspected of being cancer-causing. Now, I realize that nearly EVERYTHING is cancer-causing and carrageenan is used in human food like ice cream and yogurt but that doesn't mean it should be. Carrageenan has been shown to cause an immune reaction and in some cases lesions and even tumors in the gastrointestinal tract in humans and animals.
