Ras: The hug-fit helped make the weight bearable.
Nice bright red color.

65 litri vanno benissimo per trekking molto lunghi, ci sta comodamente all'interno tenda sacco a pelo e viveri + vestiario.

Video Matt: Great comfortable, light pack. The anti-gravity suspension system works and breathes well. Occasional squeaking but nothing particularly noteworthy. Abundant space to overpack, so I need to check myself with a scale. Love the fact the top is detachable, but do consider if opting to leave it at home that the pack’s folded-up rain cover lives there.

This pack travels as well as you pack it. The first trip I took felt awful because I had the weight distributed all wrong-- heavy stuff (tent) hanging off the bottom, stuff strapped to the outside, and 1.5L nalgenes stuffed into the side pockets. After shedding an unnecessary 15 lbs and redistributing the load, my joy factor doubled.

WARNING: I have a 33/34" waist. The belt is actually TOO BIG for me on the Large sized pack. I'm going to need to gain some weight, lolz, or find a way to buffer my hips. Two days into a backpacking trip, and the Atmos AG 65 was slipping down my backside. Really think things through carefully if you're on the M / L sizing boundary.

Caveat: Last backpack I purchased was an early 1980's Jansport external frame model... when I was a pre-teen.

papa diesel: I’m a 63 year old who loves the outdoors and wanted the best, multi-day/weekend, highly functional and durable backpack within reasonable cost. I’m not doing thru-hikes so a heavier but durable pack was my goal. 2021 brought the new Aether 65 vs the older Atmos 65, both of which were my leading candidates. I settled on the older Atmos 65 because of the very positive YouTube reviews and the fantastic price just recently posted on Amazon in February, 2021....$239.00 brand new! My Atmos came today and to my surprise, it DID come with an included rainfly! Note that rain fly’s do not normally come with the Atmoses? The medium is a 65 liter pack weighing in at 4.56 lbs, so it’s no ultralight. But here’s why I settled on the Atmos 65:
1. Anti-Gravity suspension/harness system - makes it feel like you’re carrying less weight than you actually are.
2. Durable & Flawless construction - heavy duty quality zippers, durable outer material, and overall build (like a tank!)
3. Great pockets & just the right amount of storage - 2 external storage pockets on the front of the pack is a winner! Also, trekking pole and dual ice axe lashings.
4. Dual side pockets are...

Clifford James Green Jr.: I bought the Osprey Atmos back several years ago when they first came out and didn't like it much. It wasn't
vert comfortable so I bought a Grant gear crown vic and used it instead. now however I am getting older and in less great shape so I have slowed down greatly. I dont focus in putting the miles behind me any more so I take heavyer loads and walk less miles. I like to fish and hunt and cook on a campfire now. I also take fresh stakes and ribs to grill over a camp fire now so all that adds a lot of weight to a once ultra light backpacking set up. I will have to say that the atmos has came a long way since I bought one when they first came out. i really like this one now especially for heavier loads My granite gear backpack was great for 15 to 20 lbs or so but not so much for 25 to 30 lbs so I will have to say the redesigned Atmos backpacks are very comfortable for that with a lot of bells and whistles I miss out on with an ultralight pack. I highly recommend this pack for heavier loads of 20 to 30 lbs

Eugene: Short summary:
This wonderful, comfortable and durable backpack is absolutely worth its price. Buy it now, but not before checking what size you need, using the handy Osprey PackSizer app (look it up on Google Play / App Store). And take your time finding the right position and fine-tuning your new Atmos, just like you’d do with your new sport car ;)

Important note (as it’s asked a few times below): this backpack is made to be worn by men; there is a version of this very backpack designed for women’s morphology, called Osprey Aura 65 AG or 50 AG.

Long review:
I’ve ordered this backpack after a mere month of reading reviews for many different “world best” backpacks. No regrets whatsoever, and I’m already in love with it. Here are some pros and cons, without any particular order (I’ll start by CONS, for a change).

CONs
It is really difficult to find any negative points in this wonder, but I’ll do my best.
-- I had to send back for replacement the first bag I received, because the it was missing the rain cover. Amazon support was the best as usual, they could not send me solely the rain cover (by some administrative rules) so they...
