This is the best level 1 charger that I have tried (I have tested 3 others). I have a 30 mile range on my PHEV battery. This charger gives me a full charge in under 4 hours from a 110v outlet. Just be aware that it is 16A so it will trip a standard 15A outlet. Make sure you have a 20A circuit available.

Certainly seems well made, and charging like a dream. Suggestion if you need only a Level 1 with 110v 15A plug then do NOT buy one that is a Level 2 with a so called adapter, this is what you need and can feel safe.

Charger has not been working since we hit subzero temperatures. Getting the fault error code on any power outlets I plug it on. I tried multiple outlets at home and at work and the charger won’t work.
Also, the cable is not flexible at at subzero temperatures and seems to be easily broken if flexed.
Guess the charger prefers tropical temperatures.

I purchased this charger after the original 110 volt charger that came with my 2017 Volt died. The Megear Level 1 charger worked well for a few months, but then stopped working. I contacted Megear, and got a same-day response from Charlotte in Customer Service. She was very efficient and told me the unit was covered under warranty, I just had to provide my Amazon order number and provide her with a brief video of the problem. After I provided that info, Charlotte again responded very quickly and let me know that a new charger was on the way. It arrived in a few days and is working well. I wouldn't hesitate to get another Megear product, knowing that they are responsive and stand behind their warranty. In addition, Charlotte was a pleasure to deal with.

The charger that was sold to us with our 2016 Leaf broke after a couple months of use. The same dealer tried to sell us a new charger that would have cost over three times this one did.
We looked around and this one seemed too good to be true, but so far, it has worked out great. Very happy with this product.

I got a Level 1 EV Charger from Volvo when I purchased my T8 and keep that one at home. I wanted to keep one in the SUV as a fall back in case I have no access to a Level 2 charge when out and about. Volvo dealership quotes me a price of over $700cdn for a Level 1. Saw this on Amazon and gave it a try. Delivery came on time as noted. The Zencar charger is better than the Volvo one. Thicker cable, stronger and more sturdy housing that plugs into the EV plug in my car. This charge cable does have a faster charge time than my OEM cable, but not by 25%, my experience is about 10%. Bonus carry case keeps the charger neat and tidy when not in use.
This is an exceptional price\value charger.
