Micheal k: Was given the 20m nipple shield in the hospital not knowing there were multiple sizes out there. Discovered that the 20m had too much space and when I received the 16m it fit perfectly. I read that running them under hot water then shaking off any access before applying helps the shield stick and stay during nursing. The case also is a nice touch snd comes in handy.

Cj: I had an extremely difficult time breastfeeding my first child and no one ever told me about this so when she refused to latch I ended up formula feeding her. So for my second child I was determined to find something to help me get her to latch (I have flat nipples). I have been using this for 3 months now and am proud to say I exclusively breastfeed because of it. As an extra benefit it has helped pull my nipples out a little so I am able to start nursing without it. I’m slowly weaning my baby off of using this and she is doing great.

Tasha: With my first child I had difficulty getting a good latch and with a lactation consultant in the hospital was given these shields. I used them for 8 weeks before we could get a good latch consistently.

Fast forward 5 years later and had difficulty with the second baby as well. This time I thought we had it down, but after leaving the hospital and being home a few days, my nipples were starting to become unbearably painful and damaged. I frantically ordered these on Prime same day delivery and 4 hours later had our best breastfeed since birth. My nipples got a break and healed quickly; I’ve been using them for a month now and we are starting to wean off them since we have improved latch.

I highly recommend these since they saved my breastfeeding relationship with both kids! I breastfed 2+ years for kid #1 and I doubt that would have been possible if we didn’t get off to a good start using these shields.

Yanna: I bought this just in case I need it, and can compare breastfeeding with and without it. I tried the shield on while breastfeeding but I feel like it hinders the supply the baby can take. I'm sure it helps if the baby is not latching properly but fortunately, my baby does not have an issue latching.

cory carpenter: First week as a mama here, my baby has a tongue tie, and I have realized I have “flat” nipples (didn’t know that was a thing?!) so we have 2 major hurdles holding us back from latching.

These nipple shields have completely saved breastfeeding with my baby. She latches instantly EVERY TIME now when I use this very simple solution - it is instantaneous relief for us. I ordered an extra set incase I lose them because they’re small and clear, and now a 100% required part of our feeding routine.

It is so heartbreaking watching your baby sob at your breast and try and try in frustration and stress while they simply can’t get a grip on your nipple. This worked in seconds (literally just put it over your nipple, she sucks on the faux nipple like a bottle, and my milk fills the faux nipple and flows through the little holes on the end). The nipple shield is soft, pliable, very very thin, well made, and takes seconds to clean with soap and water. EASY.

I now have a happy baby, flowing milk and no lumps in my ducts, and the greatest relief and bond with my newborn.

Danii M: Highly recommend for anyone having latch issues. Without this as a tiny baby my girl wouldn’t have been able to breastfeed. Now she’s a bit bigger she will latch on one side without it as long as I am not engorged. This also protected me from cracking/bleeding nipples common with breastfeeding.

Did not impact my supply at all.

I sterilize mine after wash in hot soapy water in the countertop steam sterilizer and it works well. The lactation consultant told me I could boil it as well.

Easy to bring on the go.

Only complaints are 1- it’s messier than if baby just latches to me directly. 2- the case it comes with doesn’t close easily like it doesn’t line up properly. I ordered this twice and both cases do the same thing. A redesign of the case would be beneficial.

Ankita: Being a great brand I thought I would receive better quality case to keep the shields.. but the quality of case is not very good .. the case makes too much noise while closing it every time ...

The shields are not amazing as it keeps falling . I need to hold the shield all the time with my hands ... this makes it very difficult especially when the baby is too hungry .. Shield wings are thin as mentioned by the brand which is good.
