Heather M.: This was a good deal but it didn’t taste like cilantro to me. I expected it to have a milder form of that unique cilantro flavor. For me it didn’t. It just tasted “green” like you knew I was a plant but couldn’t tell if it was grass or herbs or tea. I had bought it to make some camping meals w another freeze dried product but I didn’t end up using it. Customer service was good though. I guess cilantro doesn’t have the same flavor profile when the moisture is removed

Shay: I am glad I found these freeze dried shallots and they will be a staple in my pantry from now on. They add great flavor to everything. I use them in sauces and soups, have used them in omelets, bread, and potato salad. Great convenience and value for the money.
