Gail Marie: This works really well for me. I love sitting on the couch and I have this in a little basket on the table near the couch. I have high blood pressure and I am supposed to take meds if it spikes but I hate to take them if I don't need them because then I worry about having low blood pressure. This takes the guess work out of your blood pressure and it is super easy and painless to use. It also talks so you don't have to read it if you don't want to. This is my second one. I lost the previous one in a move. I think anyone who has blood pressure issues, low or high, should have one. It is accurate enough and it helps you when you need to calm down and take meds or if you are too low it tells you and you can then do what you need to do for your low blood pressure. It would make an awesome gift for a person who is not very mobile.

KDSDKSKDSDKS: This is not the first blood pressure wrist measuring device I've purchased and like many of my fellow wrist cuff buyers, when you find a good one you know it. This is a good one, and I know it.
The box is helpful for the first time blood pressure monitor-or as well as the experienced measurer, it's nice to see the effort with the printing on all sides of the box. One side shows a graph giving the idea on acceptable BP ranges, another side shows how to properly wear the cuff while sitting properly ("keep it at heart level" I keep hearing the nurse's voices in my head, it's better to always remember than always forget).
After opening the box, helpful fold out directions, the wrist cuff, USB charging cable and convenient hard plastic case all wait to surprise the box-opener, and this time it was me!
A flip of a switch on the side of this cuff and power is able to be toggled via a front-side power button that turns on and off the device in a convenient manner. The switch on the side is a happy improvement over other wrist cuffs I've had that could be accidentally powered on just be laying on their frontside or being depressed when closing there holders. Yamahawg Joe: The media could not be loaded. I've been extremely frustrated by a considerably more expensive MicroLife arm cuff blood pressure monitor for the past couple of years. Purchased from Costco, unfortunately I waited for a full year or more before unboxing and trying it out (my bad). Since first trying out that other device, it has always given me inflated and inconsistent readings despite the fact that it seems to be a high quality, feature rich blood pressure monitor. Other reviewers for that flawed device voice similar complaints in their reviews. When your blood pressure monitor performs in such a flawed manner, it's worthless and I gave up on it - as one should!
So this week I decided to look at what blood pressure monitors Amazon has to offer. This item was listed as an "Amazon's Choice", it appears to be identical to another off-brand blood pressure monitor that also earned "Amazon's Choice" status, and the reviews for both are excellent.
