It worked for about 5 months, then became progressively less reliable. Now I can't trust that it'll charge for more than a half hour at a time. Spend the money on a better charger.

After 6 months of use the charger progressively and quickly began shutting down after a period of time. At first it would just stop charging after 40 or so minutes, then a week later, would stop charge after 30 minutes, now it stops charging after 20 minutes. My car charges fine off of the other level 2 charger I have at home, as well as the level 1 charger that came with vehicle and other public chargers. No product support offered. DO NOT BUY.

I like the compact design, and used it on my Chevy Bolt.
The cable is much small diameter compared to my previous charger, both for 32A, so I was concerned about heating. I did a test charge watching the temperature, and got to 52C in about 30min, causing concern since it is rated for 55C. Granted it was hot in my garage at about 100F at night, so I added a fan which cooled the charger to 42C, which seems acceptable.

This is a review for the Max Green Speeder with the adjustable amperage. So far I'm very happy with this product especially at this price point.
The adjustable amperage seems to work great which was the main reason for buying this product since the Mach-E doesn't have a way to limit amps. It does always seem to be 1amp below the setting which I'm fine with since I'm really looking to be more conservative with the charge rate instead of pushing everything to the limit. Changing the charge rate is easy, but it only seems to work when not plugged into the car.
The display might be my next favorite part. I'm a numbers person and this is almost more useful than a smart EVSE. All the values are continuously updated, though I don't have any way to validate how accurate they are. It's also great how it shows the kWh delivered and it resets every time you unplug the car. It might be more useful if it kept accumulating all your charge season and reset when you unplugged it, but it's still nice to see how much charge it took after each charge. It's also amazing that that the kWh includes 3 significant digits! Must cars won't show more than 1 digit. ...
