D Az: This bag is great, whether you roll your clothes or fold them, it holds two full outfits, a gallon zip lock of socks, undergarments, toiletries, tablet cords and I didn’t have to check it in. You can put shoes if need be. I didn’t. I was trying to avoid checking this in because it has so much room. You could fill it up.

Many compartments, in the front and back, has a belt to hold your clothes in place. A place inside with a netted zipper pocket for toiletries. I used this to travel within the US and Europe and had no issues having this under the seat with American Airlines and Ryanair. Granted you could fit more outfits and unzip the zippers to expand the bag, but I’d be afraid it would be too puffy to put under the seat in front of me. So I opted to pack light, and do laundry while traveling. It’s soft so if you do stuff many items in the main compartment, it’s not going to take much room, you can squish it under a seat if need be. There are side straps to tighten the width of the backpack once your done and it does make it more compacted to squish it under a seat.

Garrett: I bought this bag to be able to use as a suitcase on short trips. It meets the size of a personal item which can be taken by free by cheaper airlines who like to add a lot of fees for bigger bags. I like that it’s versatile as a suitcase but can be carried as a backpack. You can really fit quite a bit in there! I’m very happy with this purchase so far. I loaded up the bag pretty heavy/full for my recent trip and it didn’t show any signs of coming apart or not being able to handle the stress.

Laura W.: I just got back from 2 weeks in Greece using this bag as my carryon and my almost only piece of luggage. My spouse carried on pair my shoes and the souvenirs in his checked bag — but this was to make the carry-on weight for Lufthansa, not because of size.
I am very impressed with this bag. It has so many nice features including the extra storage and organizing compartments. The hardware and straps seem sturdy. Of course, there is some strength and fitness required to carry a backpack-style bag — especially one with no weight distribution to the hips like a backpacking bag— but found it to be no problem and was glad not to be tethered to a rolling bag. I am very glad I purchased this bag and would again if I needed to replace it.

Bassaholic: I just received the backpack and my first impressions were the purple color was nice, looked sturdy and meets the personal item size. I was a little concerned about it being too small, but size of the backpack is deceiving. Since I just returned from a trip where I needed a suit, I did the same load-out with the new pack. It fit my suit, shoes, dress shirt, 4 t-shirts, 1 pair shorts, 1 pair of jeans, and toiletry kit without having to expand it! It easily out did the backpack I used earlier since I added an extra t-shirt and the jeans. The extra pockets would work well for a tablet and other incidentals. I didn't add socks or underwear since those can be easily packed. I really like the nice, sturdy zippers and the pulls are metal, not plastic. Overall, this backpack will meet the airlines (I'm looking at you Frontier!) personal item size and it appears to be very durable.

I highly recommend this backpack.

Candice: I bought this bag quickly before a part-work trip because my old reliable laptop bag finally gave out. This had a good price for Prime Day and looked big enough to haul my 17inch laptop and other computer must-haves as a carry-on. I figured I would have a little room left to pack a light jacket and my purse stuff... THIS THING IS ENORMOUS! First off, the laptop section is roomy enough for the main machine PLUS all the accessories, leaving the entire main section of the backpack usable for literally everything else! I packed a raincoat, a jacket, 2 pairs of shoes, all my purse necessities, a book, a neck pillow, and 2 bags of snacks with room to spare - and that's not even mentioning the EXPANDABLE panels! The backpack straps are wide and padded and made hiking through my destination city a breeze. The grab handles on the top and side were handy when I was getting thru transportation hubs. The exterior material is sturdy and waterproof, proven as I trudged through a driving rainstorm on the trip. Importantly, I did not feel like I was carrying around a backpack - it has clean lines and no weird misplaced pockets or garish hardware colors. It's minor, but I care out these little...

L Parent: I can now confidently write a review of this bag after using it for three European trips since May 2022. It is absolutely fabulous! My first use was a week trip and the second and third trips were for two weeks. It is a clamshell design and if you pack efficiently (I rolled most of my clothing) it fits everything you need. During the past two and a half week trip, I bought a few extra gifts and some clothing and it was quite full. I used the expanding zipper for the first time. I had looked at $200 bags when I was hunting for a clamshell backpack, but went for this one because of some of the more helpful reviews. I was nervous because of the cheaper price and some of the negative reviews. I am so glad I did. It is solid. No sign of tearing or stress in the straps or zippers. I have walked through big airports with this on my back and it is perfect. I admit it is a bit heavy when standing with it in your back for long periods of time so take it off until you need to walk with it. The bag is so well made, very sturdy fabric, very sturdy straps and very good zippers. Very very happy with this purchase. And even with the expanding zipper open, this bag will easily fit the suitcase...
