Lisa: We recently traveled to Europe for a Mediterranean cruise. This bag was perfect. We were constantly being warned about pick pockets especially in Rome. Since the opening of the bag is against your back i felt safe. In crowds I would just keep my hands on the straps. Its the perfect size to hold a couple water bottles and snacks phone etc. It fit perfectly under the seat on the plane also.

P. Smith: This is well made and looks great. It is inexpensive given the overall quality of fabric and manufacture. The main compartment against your back does exactly what it should. I took this on a recent trip and used it as my carry-on under the seat. I checked my larger bag, and this held everything I could use on a plane ride: iPad, scarf, ear buds, chargers, a book, a water bottle, phone, eyeshades, etc.

Note: do be careful WHAT you put WHERE. This is well-made, but you can damage it by poor placement of sharp things! After the 1st plane ride, I found a small rip to the lining at the base of one of the two front zippered pockets, where I had stored some chargers with sharp plug ends. That rip was not the fault of the manufacturer, it was mine for jamming in a bunch of sharp things to a small pocket! On my flight back, I swapped where I put things, taking out all sharp items from the front side pockets. If I had an upgrade to suggest, I'd use a more durable rip-stop kind of lining to those front hidden pockets, maybe with reinforcements to where it fastens at the base of the pocket -- it is tempting to jam in a lot of stuff.

Very happy with this minimalist and practical...

Mimi: I LOVE this bag!! I got the medium size and it was the perfect size for my trip to Georgia! I still use it every day whenever I got out and its so easy to take things out and also bonus its secured with the zipper being in the back

Amazon Customer: Recently used this bag on my trip to NYC where I wanted a secure bag for public transportation. It did it's job. The two side pockets fit standard plastic water bottles and maybe an umbrella. I couldn't fit any of my reusable water bottles in them because the pockets were too narrow. Overall a nice bag. I got the smaller size but if I were to order again I would get the larger size bag.

M. Shah: I bought this backpack specifically for a weeklong vacation in Paris. It was comfortable (maybe slightly big in the straps) to wear as a backpack (kept my hands free to balance/hold on to the pole on the metro), very roomy, and nice side pockets for water bottles. The material looked nice, and was waterproof! This was especially important as it was extremely hot, and as I was sweating, it did not soak into the inside contents (postcards/papers). At some point, my friend who was next to me was pickpocketed at the Louvre (wearing a cross body bag), and I didn't lose a thing! I love that the only access is a zipper on the inside against my back. Excellent purchase - highly recommend!

chel1106: Purchased this for day trips. Large enough to carry everything I needed, plus 2 pockets on side for drinks etc. love the fact the opening is on the inside to help thwart thieves. Would definitely recommend this bag.

Lina CLina C: The product looks like what is pictured. I purchased the large size as I thought the normal / medium would be too small for my travels. I’m very happy with my purchase. Bag quality is standard and that is what I expected from the price so I super happy AND would purchase again and maybe I will in other colours. I haven’t tried it outdoors yet but from unboxing it, it look like it’ll do the job perfect. Would recommend to anyone wanting a travel bag that opened from the inner side so not exposed to anyone passing by. Also love the fact it converts to handbag and also back pack. Does feel strange to have the two stripes hanging off the inner side when used as a handbag. But I don’t mind.

Christina: Surprisingly a great backpack for travelling if you are worried about pickpockets and the backpack is exactly as the photo is. Very spacious, I managed to fit my Columbia jacket in there (Columbia Women's Chatfield Hill Spring/Fall Jacket, Long, Hooded) there are two slightly hidden zips in the sides of the bag. Would highly recommend this backpack for traveling to areas with high pickpocketing! The two things I did not like about the bag is that the zips come down too low on the bag and feels like things will fall out when you're trying to pull your things out of the bag and I wish there were more interior pockets within the main bag. However, overall a good bag and would use again on my next travels (I travelled to Italy with this bag).

Brian: Quality good. Could have more compartments. Took it to Japan unfortunately put mu money. in the side pockets. but got robbed. need to be able to lock or hide better. Otherwide good product.
