Josiah: Now as this book states several times it's not a "get out of trouble free" card, but the knowledge held within is very valuable. I'm planning on going on a mountain excursion in the Pacific NW and this book has given me much more confidence and excitement.

kons: I am not sure why this book has so many good reviews. It is written like a story filled with words & more words. No pictures or illustrations. I am wanting a book to explain bushcraft & survivor skills with clear illustrations. Skip it. Better books out there. Completely waste of time LOL

Clive: AT 70 years old I'm not going far from home. But I do target shoot and hunt deer still.
I have followed Steven on his Netflix series and have a couple of his Meateater books.
I bought this book to read at home with a view to never going anywhere further than the supermarket.
But I have have an interest in the wild outside, as I'd say many others have.
This book is full of all you'd need to know to survive in the big world. A great read with many tips on even the basic needs both far away and if your only in your garden.
