Marshall's Creek Spices Large Jars of Freshly Packed Smoked Ground Black Pepper

patty mastracco: I needed this ASAP for a job - large batches of seasoned nuts. I used to be able to find smoked pepper at the grocery store but not any more. This one seemed reasonable - I guess you get what you pay for. It not smokey at all. I ended up having to swap out the sea salt with smoked sea salt to get any sort of smokey flavor. Not a happy chef. I'm very disappointed with this product.

Amazon Customer: I love the smokey flavor this pepper adds to grilled meats and vegetables. I also love smokey salts, but often find I need to use too much salt to get the intensity of smoke flavor that I want. Using this smokey pepper allows me to dial up the taste without over salting my food. I especially like using it while grilling, as it adds a wonderful subtle flavor to the food.

K_K_M: The pepper flavor was excellent but the smoke flavor was weak. I do not think it was worth the price. Probably will not buy again.

Chelsey Nicholas: Wasn't really expecting the container to be half full. I know that spices bought at the store are full. It seems like the seal was broke (see picture) to remove half of the pepper. So that's a bit annoying. Not sure if it will be safe to use because of that. Was bought for a gift, but not going to gift it half full with a sketchy looking seal.
