Teresa Lavoie: I began this book as a needed read chosen by our book club.I had just finished a book by Eric Larsen pertaining to this same subject, and as prefer factual to fiction,I was not as interested.I was pleasantly surprised as the content seems well researched and kept my interest it discussed Clementine's personal feelings as Mr's Churchill.

Joan Jeffers: Of course, I knew about Clementine but what I knew put her in a not so good light. As the author , future generations will pick at their actions from the safely of their homes.
I hope you will read about the author and the reasons she chooses to write about strong and sometimes unknown women. I hope you will read this story from Clememtine’s point of view. You will be amazed at the strength of this capable women.

Elaine Sinclair: I was disappointed in this book. I dont know why. I have read other books by this author. and was impressed. Perhaps it was learning that Churchill had clay feet. We owe this man a lot but we owe his wife more

Amazon Customer: 'Lady Clementine' was an enjoyable, fast read for me. Historical fiction is my favorite genre, especially stories taking place in the UK. That said, I had very little knowledge of Clementine Churchill.
Because this is a fictionalized account of her life, the private conversations between Clementine and Winston, Eleanor Roosevelt and other real-life characters came from the author's imagination. That is, unless the conversations were documented elsewhere.
Since completing the novel, I have read a great deal on Clementine and the entire family and found Marie Benedict's version spot on to what has been previously written - and can be found online - about the family.
I enjoy Marie Benedict's writing style. The story moved along at a good speed, I never found myself bored. Her descriptions are clear and concise, she doesn't go on or repeat herself, and her vocabulary keeps me on my toes. Ms. Benedict is becoming a favorite historical fiction author of mine.
This was a quick read for me, and I'm glad I chose the book. If you enjoy historical fiction, you might want to give 'Lady Clementine' a try.

Bonnie Carter: An outstanding novel. So much I didn't know about Clementine. We only hear about Churchill but it looks like Clementine really was instrumental in the war effort. Nice to finally hear about women"s efforts! So much history wrapped up in an exciting story!

A. Mills: I love this author's previous book - the other Einstein - so that may have influenced my initial read of this book (Lady Clementine. I found the book slow going at first but knowing the author's other work I stuck with it. It was a great decision. I very much liked the focus on the relationship between Lady Clementine and husband Winston Churchill. I felt as if Ihad been shown behind the scenes of the Churchill's lived against a background of world war.
