Daisy: We use it to hold our tree. It’s very windy where we are and it’s blowing everything. We surrounded our house by trees/shrubs to save the fruit trees. Even with all of these it’s blowing the flowers so come fruit season only few survive.

Robert James: I bought them to use as exercise straps, two in parallel, hanging from above with gym hand grips. For sure strong enough, but the loops are not in the exact same positions for an even/level two hand hanging grip.
Of course, this is not what this product is designed for, so they can't be held responsible for this. A slight difference in build from one strap to the other will have zero negative effects on hanging a hammock.
These straps are very well made, they look very high quality and strong. Would recommend for sure.
