BigBrother: Die elektrische Fliegenklatsche hat den Härtetest in den Tropen bestanden. Zum Glück hatte ich es in Afrika kaum mit Moskitos zu tun, aber auch andere Insekten oder Käfer konnte ich damit annihilieren. Nur an einer riesigen Küchenschabe hat sich die Klatsche die Zähne ausgebissen. Die wirkte zwar anfangs etwas geschockt spazierte dann aber munter weiter. Allerdings hatte ich auch nicht erwartet, dass dieses Gerät ein ca. 8 Zentimeter langes Getier töten kann.

J: As a rule i am a peaceful person but these are some sort of devil flys. Flys think they can come in and take over. Spit and poop on everything and everyone. Gross. This swatter not only kills them with a loud POP and smoking it is fun to use. I've found if you put the swatter behind the fly then put your hand in front of the fly they will often fly into the swatter and zap they die buhahaha!

R. Neumann: Rund 6 Wochen nach der Erstaufladung und nach (meiner Meinung nach) ziemlich regelmäßiger, häufiger Nutzung (gegen Fruchtfliegen) ist erstmals das Akku leer. Es hat jetzt rund 3 Tage gedauert, in denen die Leistung generell reduziert war (Lampe deutlich schwächer, und der Effekt gegen die Fruchtfliegen fiel auch schwächer aus) - also vermutlich ist das ein gutes Anzeichen dafür, wann man es wieder aufladen sollte. Um dann nicht noch mehrere Tage darauf zu warten, dass es gänzlich entladen ist.

Das Fantastische ist: man kann die Fruchtfliegen auch mitten im Flug erwischen - einfach durch ihre Flugbahn ziehen, fertig.

Habe mich bisher noch nicht selbst damit gezappt, aber das Risiko ist definitiv da. Soweit ich das sagen kann, scheint das Gitter bereits zu zappen, wenn die Fruchtfliege noch ungefähr 0,5cm weit entfernt ist. Also wenn sie an einer Wand sitzt und man die elektrische Fliegenklatsche nur auf die Wand legt, dann kann die Fruchtfliege noch ungehindert rumlaufen. Aber sobald sie abzuheben versucht, gibts Grillfliege.

demkaty: Un peu capricieuse au niveau chargement, ça marche, ça marche plus, allumée ça fonctionne pas, elle fonctionne éteinte,.... Bref, ça marche quand même, probablement faux contact, efficace quand ça marche, j'en ai quand même une de rechange plus basique....

Yannick C.: mais alors qu'est ce qu'elle est efficace. Au départ je cherchais une raquette à 5€ comme on en trouve parfois en promo. Et j'ai failli crier au scandale qu'Amazon ne propose rien dans ces prix là et me voila contraint et forcer d'acheter un produit trois fois plus cher. Du moins en ce qui concerne les modèles avec la grille sur un seul plan. Sinon les gros insectes ne rentrent pas dans le grillage et ne se font pas griller. Bon je me dis que c'est un produit à batterie rechargeable, et que ça justifie au moins en partie la différence par rapport à une raquette à piles non fournies. Ben à l'usage on voit clairement la différence. Là où pour une raquette classique il faut parfois insister un peu pour en venir à bout, là on remarque tout de suite la différence, c'est très sonore, on entend très bien le clac de l'insecte qui se fait griller. La raquette est à l'évidence bien plus puissante que les trucs à 5€ que j'ai pu acheter par le passé.

Achat sans regret, j'en reprendrais sans doute d'autres.

VSL: Easy and self evident to use. We were infested with fruit flies, used apple cider vinegar traps to attract them, and used this to whack the majority of flies. Used it more than a few times the first few days, then gradually had to use it less. It really did the job - especially if you are frustrated with trying to use hand claps to get those critters. Took them out in large numbers.

I just wish the weave were slightly tighter or had a cross weave pattern because some do escape on the first couple of passes. The sharp crack sound bothers our dog, but that's a small price to pay to get rid of the pests.

Sometimes it's hard to believe that all the zaps are bugs, but the proof will be on your counter - lots of dead bodies even when I waved it without seeing anything flying around.

Big bonus yesterday: nailed a big mosquito that had just bitten me a half dozen times.

After about a week, I accidently touched a finger with it. Very startling but not painful at all. Just felt surprised for a good minute or so.

Stupid on my part. Very safe device and easy to use. The square design makes it a little easier to use across surfaces.

wannabe perfectionist 💬wannabe perfectionist 💬: Our house must have a secret entrance or opening for the flying insects around our house because we get uninvited intruders flying in all the time... They range from flies, mosquitoes, bees and even wasps. To be honest, the mosquitos are the worst since they are the only ones that come after my kids to suck blood out of them. My kids and wife screams and runs out of their room as soon as they hear or see anything flying in their rooms and it's my job to be the ghostbuster to trying to catch them.

Few years ago, I finally figured out that electric swatter/zapper is the best way to catch them since it can even catch them in the air while they are flying around. I gotta say my tennis game improved ever since I started using electric zapper and mastered to catch those flying insects in the air lol

Based on the number and frequency of the uninvited intruders, I don't think I can have enough bug zappers.
