Stacy: I purchased this about a month ago. I wanted to use it for awhile so I could leave an accurate review. I need to order another bottle soon! I really love this stuff! I was unsure at first because my skin has become very sensitive since I'm in per- menopausal. So many weird things started happening to my skin and I was starting to feel like I should probably just walk around with a bag over my head! I wad also recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease so that probably contributed to the skin issues. I knew I needed to make some changes. I do take supplements to help with the hormones. I decided to order this when it went on sale for a steal! It is pretty thick but I apply this on my damp skin and wait for it to be almost dry and put my lotion on. This stuff has helped my skin in SOOO many ways! It did Not bother my skin in anyway. I was worried about my new found extra sensitivity but it didn't bother it at all. Amazon Customer: This bottle has lasted me about 2 1/2 months. I have very sensitive skin and acne so I was worried this would irritate it as many blogs have said that vitamin c can do so. BUT!!! this vitamin c worked so nicely, never caused any sort of reaction.
I only use it in the morning as it has helped lighten up some dark spots and smooth out skin (like deep pitted acne scars) but nothing too radical as I’ve also read it could take a few months to see prominent results. It sort of brightened and evened out my skin tone but i can’t really say for sure.
The serum was smooth, slightly orange, little smell, and was slightly thicker than water. It’s kind of expensive but I’m worried about purchasing a cheaper one with cheaper ingredients that could damage my skin or be useless. So I trust this brand for now.
Also just a little tip: I keep my serum in the box it came in just to make sure it keeps out of the sun and doesn’t oxidize. My vanity is right next to my window and I can’t keep my serum in the fridge so I leave it in it’s box. It seems to help!
