FrogworthFrogworth: Surely the phrase "you get what you pay for" applies here. This is not a turn key item. But the good news is that for someone on a tight budget and a first guitar this has a lot of potential. Spoiler Alert: I would buy this again.
As shown in the pics this guitar has issues, one unforgivable, namely the frets were dressed so poorly they were uncomfortably sharp. I dressed them and I also re-shaped the nut. I get it, there's no time at the factory at this price point, but some things like that should not be overlooked. Fortunately, most of the issues are addressed with a little time and effort if you buy this. The tremolo is so cheap I just hard-tailed it. A little TLC and all the cheap stuff like tuners, tremolo, pickups, heck all the parts, can eventually be swapped out. The point is the neck and body are great...and incredibly light . I thought it was a misprint at around 5lbs, but it's actually accurate. The body is Paulownia wood (they call it Phoenix wood or something) which is considered the "aluminum of wood". I'd give the neck and body a solid A and for the price point an A+. And of course the neck is what matters.

Jesse Eggers: This is such an awesome bundle for a beginner. My daugher absolutely loves it! It really feels solid for the money, looks really good, sounds excellent, and the amp and accessories got her started with everything she needed without breaking the bank in case she ends up getting bored of it over time. MrSteveG: I'm right handed and I have virtually no dexterity in my left hand. As a result I have never been able to play guitar. I just could not get the fingers on my left hand to cooperate. A friend a suggested getting left handed guitar and see what would happen. Most of the lefties I found were over $200, which, for my purposes, were too high. This was perfectly priced and includes all the components you need as a beginner. So far I'm pleased with the guitar and all the gear, its just a matter of learning how to play! We'll see what happens

Lauren Sommers: My guitar was scratched when I got it. I was also sent a right handed guitar when I ordered a left handed guitar. I will be contacting the company to see if I can exchange it for what I ordered and hopefully that goes well. Other than some minor scratches on the guitar and this minor inconvenience with me being sent the wrong item, everything else about this guitar is great!

Kindle Customer: Total beginner, old guy (51 years) and just starting and I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. The guitar itself, from what little I know, looks great. But from watching videos and stuff while trying to learn I've noticed that this is indeed a cheap guitar set, but a few tweaks certainly made it more fun to play with and to use. It came with everything shown, the guitar, the tuner, the amplifier, the cord, the allen wrenches, the pics, the strings, the whammy bar, the gig bag and the strap. It was packaged well, and came when it was said it would come. One thing that upset me the most was that I paid 160.00 USD for this and within a week and a half it had dropped 20 bucks in price, but hey, what can you do, right?

This all being said, this is my take (as a major beginner) on each item:

1. Obviously, the strings are crap. I actually had read in the reviews that this guitar needed new strings in the reviews, but after three of them broke within the first two weeks, I got some NYXL strings and WOW!!! there is a MAJOR difference in tone and feel. My guitar actually stays in tune for several days! Negative - 2 stars for the strings

2. The picks, to me, weren't...
