Bryce: The drain is great after you grind It down on a belt sander. It must be made for American plumbing code. But In Canada because the brass threading is tapered, it needs to be sanded down to fit ABS pipe, or else it will bottom out 3/4” before being flush with your tub drain and overflow. Note: the quality is awesome, and it can work in Canada. But only after alteration. It would be better if they made the threading shorter in the next design for ABS instead of PVC installations. And we didn’t use the rubber seal. 100% silicone on a dry acrylic tub works best for no leaks.

Austin P: The first drain we got the surface became blemished after using bleach or other harsh chemicals. However I contacted customer service and they sent a new one hassle free and they were extremely easy to work with. Now we have a new drain and will be more mindful of the chemicals we use!

CT Carpenter: The drain is made of heavy cast brass and seams like it will last a long time. Installation was pretty easy once you got the old one out, this one just screws in with some plumbers putty, not included. It comes with the adapter which we did not use . The hardest thing is re-connecting the stopper screw after we had to disconnect it and remove it to tighten in the drain assembly. But with some care it went on fine. I would recommend this as a good choice for drain stopper replacement.
