DR Dean: Very heavy duty metal. Easy to adjust for individual need. Fots perfect over my storm door and allowing my entrance door to open and shut with ease.
I used it for a very large heavy christmas wreath to hang on the outside of my entrance door. It handled the purchase with easy.
I would recommend and would purchase again myself.

Penny Lee: I bought this to hang my 32” wreath I bought from Costco. On the end that hooks on the door it has padding so it doesn’t scratch the door but it doesn’t stick too well so after moving it several times it wasn’t really all there anymore. It does make it a bit harder for the door to close, but my door does close.

Martha P.: I ordered this item because the length can be adjusted. I don't like having a wreath too high on the door. This hanger provides a lot of variance in the length. I haven't yet used it, but it seems to be just as advertised except there isn't protection all around the metal as I expected from the description. It's only on the part that goes over the door. If it's necessary, I can add a little padding around the sides. I did notice when I tried the hanger on my door that the little padding it does have left a dark mark on my light door, so I may switch that out for some other kind of foam.
