I removed one star as this is just another device that has to have LED's lighting it up for no reason at all. I do not need all the rooms in my house lit up at night with too bright LED's.

Old Farmer: It really works fine with the app for remote operation and is great for security ability to turn you lights on at different times.

Richard Crum: I bought this to go with smartthings after the last Wink outage. I have some of their "no neutral switches" due to old wiring, and a remote. I was able to get the switches back but apparently no way to get smartthings to see the remotes through the the lutron bridge.

Draxus: This works great, and I'm happy with Lutron products as a whole. I had bought the non pro version of their bridge with a wall switch and it worked great for everything. The one issue I had was in Home Assistant and it's probably not what you think. Home Assistant has stepped up its game and now is *very* easy to implement the non pro version, which works great. The only problem is you can't use the Pico remotes outside of the Lutron ecosystem without the Pro version. They don't show and aren't usable to trigger other things in Home Assistant. It's a lot of money to just get access to a bunch of tiny remotes. As far as I can tell the differences in the pro and non pro versions are solely software/support related. I gotta say though, being able to program every button for other is kind of cool though. I have one set up at my desk for lights and with the favorite button to toggle on and off my work monitors which are on a different brand smart plug. Every button has triggers for "Pressed" and "Released" and with some creative programming in home assistant out there you can do multiple button presses. It does open up quite a few possibilities. I'm glad i bought it, but had I known...

Dominic P.: Works well, if you are using an Iphone and want to use google home you need to configure it through and android phone first or use bluestacks on your pc ...

Delroy: The Lutron Caseta is the only 2 wire dimmer that I am aware of. With this Pro hub, I can use an app on the phone or tablet to control the the lights. Also works with the open source project Home Assistant. The Pro hub also works with their line of blinds as well.

foxalopex: This is the bridge that you want to get if you want to get Telnet access into your lighting system to control it yourself. A little more research and experimenting and you should be able to figure out at least the output commands. Unfortunately it's about twice the cost of the consumer bridge which doesn't have Telnet access. You'll need the APP on your phone to turn this ability on through settings and probably a way to secure it since it uses a default login and password.

Mr. Jinx: I like it, as the price was good for lighting control and the Siri control from the iPhone is a bonus. Not sure I needed to get the pro, but the fact that it can integrate with an alarm is good to have. We only have few lights on the controller, but it's nice to have the sun rise, sunset and scheduling functionality. I wish that the system could automatically shut off a light for example after coming home. E.g. an outside light can automatically
come one with a geofence setup, but you can't have it turn off after say a couple of mins. The native app seems a lot quicker than the home kit app when controlling lights. Not sure if we would ever do blinds automation as the ones that are compatible with Luton are super expensive. I would also like to see them expand their product line; I would say that other smart bridge controllers have the edge on that front.
We installed the bridge in a closet on the main floor, it seem to work fine on the 2nd floor without the need for a range extender. You do need to have a hard line ethernet (and power) to the bridge, but we planned for this when the house was built.

Ian Smith: Controls the lights as advertised and it was easy to set up my iRule remote control to handle it. Hey Siri works on my iPhone, but not my iPads. Lutron support blamed Microsoft and told me to call them. Have you ever done that and got real help? Found out after I bought this that there are no extenders and you can't have two of them in the same system, so part of my house can't be covered. The Caseta system does exactly what I want though, so it's fine.

Chris Stephens: This is the pro version you want for Home Assistant. It has telnet for additional home automation control. I couldn't find it locally at the usual getting places.
Works great.
