Get the Lund Genesis Roll Up Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover today and experience the difference in size and quality.Con_EdCon_Ed: I've a 2011 Ford Ranger and had the bed and rails sprayed by Line-X and it has UV protection, however I was getting tired of throwing items in the cab to keep dry when raining. I also installed four tie down anchors in the stake pockets. Well, every tonneau cover I considered, the rail fitment made it so I could never use the tie down anchors, or if I forced it and resigned to never use the tie downs, I "could", but since the anchors are somewhat raised, the fitment would look terrible and probably compromise the cover. There's a nationally renowned "low profile" tonneau cover company that specifically markets this type, that allows anything in the bed rails to still function. "This" company sells their cover for $ 550.00. This Lund is IDENTICAL and such a better value. The pics on both websites look identical, so wondering if they are the same product just rebranded??? It LITERALLY took my 30 minutes to install and fit perfectly and it rained/poured last night, just checked, bone dry (I know these are not 100% waterproof but still, the quality and weather stripping everywhere, worked wonderfully). And the restraining strap system IS GENIUS (when you roll the cover), no plastic...

angel: Took me about an hour or so to install on my 03 flareside with the proper adjustments. I’m really impressed with this item because it’s held really well against rain and heavy snow. The bed remained completely dry with 2 straight days of rain. Don’t second guess this product, I’d highly recommend it due to my experience with it.

JK: First impression out of the box was that Lund has zero quality control. I felt like I'd bought this from some no-name Chinese seller, except this was even worse.
The velcro isn't straight and has wrinkles.
Some of the metal pieces were scratched through the finish.
The box was missing the carriage bolts. Didn't matter, since the side rails are just long enough to prevent closing the tailgate, so I never got far enough in the installation to actually put the cover on.
The rails don't sit flush at the front of the box and one seemed bowed in the middle.
The instructions are adequate, but not good, and printed on the thinnest cheapest paper available anywhere.
Included a "parts list" but it didn't say what size the carriage bolts are supposed to be.
Also said you need a 7/16" wrench, but I have no idea why, because the clamps need a 1/2" wrench, even though the instructions don't mention that.
I cannot stress enough how disappointed I was in this product. It's going back for a refund and I'll buy one from a different manufacturer.

G3: I generally agree with the positive reviews, but I note some things that others have not mentioned.
First, this is a flat cover, and the fabric is supported by a few crossbars. When the truck is level, any rainfall is going to puddle. Sure, it will run off when the truck moves, but puddles create rings and stains. There are some tonneaus that have arched crossbars - - but they lack the nice velcro side-seals of the Lund.
Second, it's not going to seal very well against dust. This is due to the way the rear lip interface is done, in three pieces (left, middle, right). There are a lot of small gaps, and it's right in the low-pressure area where the dust gets sucked in. Rats.
Third, it takes two hands to open the rear. I've had other covers that open with one hand, and that's nice when you have a package or something you want to lob in. But it's a small thing.
All that said, I'm keeping it and generally like it. It's very lightweight (prime consideration), looks okay, and works conveniently.

Daniel HofmeisterDaniel Hofmeister: Overall: great looking cover that stretches taut to keep 99.9% of rain out of the bed.
I have a drop in liner that made it a bit more difficult to install than normal. The aluminum clips used to hold the rails on were a real pain to use and kept misaligning. A second person to hold the rail up while I fiddled with the clips would have made it a lot easier. Unfortunately the holes in my liner were too small for Irwin clamps to fit into.
One thing to note is that my bed liner made the bed slightly too short for the rails. I had to remove the rubber weather seals at both ends of the rails for them to fit. See the closeup picture for where some rain can get in due to the weather seals being gone. I'm going to glue a piece of rubber to the corners of the rubber flashing to cover that gap. With that done I can say that this cover is truly rain-proof.
8/10 would highly recommend for the price!
