I like this swatter compared to another brand that is round shaped. It does come in 2 pieces but you just push them together and no tools are involved. The top half has flown off a couple times when swinging really hard. It has more lights and bigger surface. I used this during camping also where the was a bunch of wasps flying around wherever we cooked or ate.
I wish the inner mesh where they get zapped was more smaller. I have small mosquitos and when I try to zap them, they just go right through half the time. Hopefully in future revisions they'll have smaller mesh on the inside. I don't really like the bigger push button switch that's on the handle either. If you completely drain the battery and have it on the on position while charging, it will not charge. You have to turn it off, then charge for a while before turning it on if you want to leave it on over night. Other than that it's the best electric swatter that I've tried so far.
