Mamalainii: So nothing at allw rong with the book, good quality and beautifully illustrated. I did have to return it though as my kid needed the novel for school and I didn’t realize at first that this was the graphic novel (comic book style)

anastasia dee rameau: This comic book is VERY GOOD but I had to return it because I didn't want it in comic book form. I think my son would have preferred it that way, but I didn't want pictures when he was reading it, since he's in 8th grade. I still liked the comic book version a lot. It looked very nice but I returned it.

CourtneyCourtney: I bought this book for my 12 year old son to read. I enjoyed reading this book as a young adolescent and wanted to see if my son would also enjoy the story. My son doesn’t “enjoy” reading but rather does it as a task assigned but I did find him picking up the book without my prompting and he did read much longer than he normally does. My son was able to read this in just a few days and said he liked the story and that it was interesting. I like that we could discuss some of the things going on and will be able to enjoy a movie version of this same story. I’m super happy that they make this book as a graphic novel as and hope they make the other books into graphic novels too.

Superbaby: This was a lot of fun to read & the art was a treat. Because color plays a large role in the graphic novel, however, I wonder how that translates to a kindle device (all black & white, right? Not sure I guess). I read this on my iPad with the kindle app, in beautiful color. So glad I bought this.

Dawid: A great story. Very Orwellian. I can’t say that I was familiar with the original source, but I’m glad I went for it. Great use of colour palette to build the world.

Asantos: The images in the graphic novel really help breath new life into this classic book. It was a joy to read and left me wanting more.

Elisabeth Whittier: I had the honor of meeting Lois Lowry and was taken by her humility and pleasure in hearing how her books enthralled older readers. Her books deal with serious issues in accessible, brilliant prose.
