Juan Monachesi: The mouse build quality is great but its a 100 USD mouse so it should be expected, the buttons and wheel are firm and precise. The hand rests perfectly over it (I don't use the claw stance). The signal quality is perfect for up to around 2 meters, after that the pointer will jitter. The battery last 4 or 5 days max using it around 8 hours a day. Also the mouse is beautiful, which is the reason why I bought it.

Things I don't like of this mouse:
- You have to hit the side buttons with the thumb knuckle because they are way, WAY to close to the wrist.
- The top side button is near impossible to click. I'm not exagerating.
- The main wheel stepping is too hard and the texture is too sharp making it annoying to touch with the finger. The automatic loose mode doesn't help either.
- The new Logitech Options software doesn't work as the previous software that was used for the G500, for instance you cannot store a keyboard stroke associated to a button and close the program like before. It also doesn't register correctly which application is active, it also has a lot less options than before. Basically most often than not it will just not work.
- The side buttons are...

Also die MX Master.

Verarbeitung:

Oliver Burton: Anyone who works or has worked in the graphic design and video editing spaces has probably heard of Logitech’s premium mice, as they are favoured by the industry. Following the discontinuation of the MX revolution with its innovative additional horizontal scroll wheel, the highly ergonomic Performance MX remained their most popular offering for quite some time. However in early 2015, Logitech debuted the MX Master, a design celebrating the best features of this series, while presenting them in a new sleeker form factor.

Having been a Performance MX user myself for the last couple of years, my first reactions upon releasing the Master from its box were very positive. It somehow seems even larger than the Performance MX did, with a slightly wider footprint, although the feel in the hand is very much the same, with support for the pinky finger provided by a slight additional curve on the right side. It’s also slightly taller, which at first surprised me, but ergonomically this is even better than the Performance MX because it allows you to relax your palm over the butt of the mouse, rather than encouraging a claw grip.

Now because of the presence of the new thumb...

Mercuryshine: I used the Performance Mouse MX for years and absolutely loved it--it was as close to perfection as a mouse could be, in my opinion Finally, though, the right mouse button stopped performing consistently, so I looked for the next generation of Logitech mouse. I had reservations about the new design of the "back" and "forward" side buttons on the MX Master but decided to go with it anyway. I wasn't wrong about my reservations. Whoever decided on the slanted split design must not have used it in prototype testing because it is almost impossible to use properly. You just can't click the uppermost of the two buttons effectively without turning the mouse to the side and locating it visually; even then it is hard to hit properly. The "back" and "forward" side buttons are also located too far back on the mouse. Truly a louse design and location. It's hard to understand why the Performance Mouse MX design was discarded. On the positive side, I enjoy the middle mouse button and the thumb rest button located on the bottom of the thumb rest. I use mapped and use the latter as a "back" button, so I avoid using the side "back" button. All in all, it works well with the small dongle and I'd...
