The Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a reliable and high-precision mouse. With its speed-adaptive scroll wheel and easy-switch up to 3 devices, you can easily move between devices with ease. The meteorite black color range, build quality, compatibility, and connectivity make this mouse one of the best on the market. Pros of the Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse include its precision wheel that auto-shifts from click-to-click for hyper-fast scrolling, its reliable connection via Bluetooth and included unifying USB receiver, and its built-in advanced sensor that offers precise tracking on all surfaces. Ian M.: I really like the weight of this mouse.
You'll find the dongle hidden in the box, it took me a while to find it. Hahaha!

Marc: I had a Logitech M720 before this one and I loved that mouse. Unfortunately, I worn out the left button and decided to purchase this MX as a replacement. There are a couple of things I miss from the M720.
1 - The device selection button on the MX is at the bottom of the mouse as opposed to being a side button like on the M720. The M720 made is so much easier to switch device. With the MX, I have to flip the mouse and press the button.
2 - The M720 has an internal slot to store the USB received when you don't need it. Being a bluetooth mouse, I mostly use bluetooth so it's handy being able to store the receiver so you don't lose it.
3 - The M720 uses 1 AA battery that lasts for months. The MX is rechargeable. If you forget to plug it in and the battery runs out, you'll have to use it as a wired mouse while it is charging. With the M720, I just replace the AA battery and I'm back to work (which lasts for months).
What I really like about the MX that the M720 does not have:
1 - The side wheel is quite awesome when set to scroll left and right. Very handy for large spreadsheets or long lines of code.
The MX has the back and forward buttons right on top of...

Evan Kirschenmann: Off the bat, I'd like to get this out of the way. DO NOT buy this mouse if you intend to game on your system at all. the response rate of this sensor is 500hz, not 1000hz, so it is noticeably slower than gaming mouse, namely the g703, which I compared it to.
However, this thing has some great office features. Long enough battery life that a week without being turned off and without charging hasn't killed it, and enough buttons and gadgets that you can pretty much bind whatever you want to this thing in terms of macros. There's two side buttons alongside a horizontal scroll wheel (which has this super awesome feeling weighted linear feel to it, and is great for scrolling through stuff like unwrapped code, or webpages when not full screened.) There's also a hidden 3rd side button that you may use from pressing your thumb down.
The software is as you would expect. Bloatware, but lets you bind what you want to the buttons, given that you want to rebind them.
I only have two complaints about this mouse.
1.) This thing is a bit heavier than I would like. I'm used to gaming mice, so this thing almost feels unnecessarily heavy, even for office use. If you're the...

Amazonian: As I've read and heard in other reviews, the back/forward buttons are indeed difficult and unnatural to reach so I just tend to not use them at all. The side scroll wheel is practically useless. Supposedly it's nice for video editing but I wouldn't know and haven't really found any other use for it. If you deal with spreadsheets that have tons of columns, it might come in handy for side to side scrolling. The adaptive speed scroll wheel could also be accused of being a novelty. I find myself flicking the wheel into free spin mode more because it's mildly fun, but not any faster (in fact, usually slower) than just using the scroll bar on screen. Oh I almost completely forgot about the gesture button as well because I never use it. Your hand has to be positioned very specifically on the mouse to utilize the gesture button effectively otherwise it's very inconvenient to use. Also unless you press in exactly the right spot, it is kind of hard to press and causes the whole mouse to want to tip over. And there aren't any gesture functions preloaded so it doesn't do anything out of the box, you have to go in and assign functions. You would think there would be some default functions...

Stephen: Excellent work mouse with side scroll wheel and main scroll wheel over-running clutch that makes navigating excel sheets a dream and can even set it up to work from multiple computers at the flick of a switch. I have pretty large hands and have difficulty finding a mouse that works well for me but this definitely fits the bill. Plug and play works on even corporate computers, only have to charge it after about 2 weeks of use, been using it for about 2 years now with no issues, highly recommend for work. I dont use it for gaming but only has 2 programmable keys that I wouldn't be a huge fan of for that use.
