Logitech MX Anywhere 2S Wireless Laser Mouse - Perfect for Working On-the-Go

i1patrick: It works on multiple surfaces as advertised, but I couldn't use it for more than 15 minutes.
It was just way too small for a man like me with bigger than average hands to use comfortably.

I've been using Logitech's M510 model for many years. It's large enough and comfortable for me. I wanted to try the MX Anywhere 2S because the ability to use a mouse on varying surfaces was appealing. Not all of my laptop work takes place at a desk.

It felt like the MX was about half the size of the M510. My palm was hovering over it with my fingers bending under to reach the main buttons.

I gave the MX Anywhere model to my wife and so far she's happy with it.

Warren Christie: I needed something that tracked very well on multiple surfaces for CAD adjustments in the field. This mouse tracks amazing on anything. From a piece of metal, to wood, to plastic. Whatever you can find as a table this will track with accuracy on it.

Sue Gooden: This is my 2nd Logitech MX mouse and I would still have the first one but I kept sliding it off the desk and too many times of hitting the floor finally killed it but, I had my first one for 7yrs and loved it so bought another. Holds a charge for about a month and this is with using it 10-12 hours a day. Great mouse. You can't go wrong with this one and worth every penny.!

artisannm: Per the description - "Movement Detection Technology Laser"
I have an older true laser mouse that shines a red laser that this was intended to replace. It seems nobody manufactures the older style any longer. If for whatever reason you also are looking for an old style 'true laser' mouse this is not it.
It has the standard typical camera technology just like all Logitech mice products apparently do, having also bought a cheapie at Walmart.

As to the mouse itself it is a bit on the smaller side. You'll definitely be resting your whole hand on the table while using this mouse. I have a full desktop mat for using a mouse on, that is soft enough not to cause an issue despite how small the Logitech is.

Two - week update: I'm returning this because I'm tired of fighting with the screen that's constantly moving on me due to their 'hyper fast' scrolling wheel. You can't click where you want because the page is moving from the last time you activated the wheel. I don't get why Logitech makes a mouse you can't control.
It's also cramping my hand for being on the super small 'compact' side for a mouse.

kgc: Works great even on a glass table. Battery life is excellent. Easy to install and I love the feel of the scrolling wheel. Best mouse I've ever used.

C. Owens: Feals a little cheap, but workers pretty good, scroll wheel is better than most nowadays. Feels a little weird when you push the mouse wheel down as it goes down a lot. It works wirelessly with ps5 using the unifying receiver that comes included (need to pair it on PC first) Which is why I wanted it. Plus you can switch between 3 devices in total by pushing a button. It is a small mouse but seems pretty good. What have been better if the unifying receiver wasn't necessary for the ps5, but at least it works!

Kris B: I used the first version of this mouse for many years until it stopped working, so I naturally picked up the next version. Based on reviews it was the closest thing to the mouse I was used to.

Works great, my only complaint is that the power switch is very small, so after being used to flicking huge the sliding power switch on the first version, this one feels very fiddly..

Battery life seems good so far and not having to keep AA batteries on hand was a pleasant change.

Paired, as expected, with my existing Logitech receiver without any issues. Though it does keep nagging me to install their mouse software "to get the most from my device".. It works perfect without it.

Amy: Love the buttons. the shape is a bit uncomfortable but not bad. it's a bit smaller than the g502 i had. I have very large hands (even for men) and my pinkie always feels weird with this
it's a bit heavy but it does have a battery
it does have a scroll left and right button which I love and use for tab switching but sadly it does need their software to configure
there's also a very useful back/forward button
i love how it can pair with 3 devices!
the sensor is also great! as far as I can tell
I think this is a good travel mouse for people who wanna do things like design etc on the go.
Also if you don't use it for a bit and pick it again it doesn't move for the first few mm of movement which is annoying.

On the plus side the gestures feature (you can change the gesture button from middle click to forward if you need it for CAD like me in the settings) is pretty amazing IMO!

however... one stupid design decision is the scroll wheel. WHY IS THE MIDDLE CLICK A separate button?!!! the middle click button is behind the main scroll wheel, to change the scroll wheel from free spin to tactile you have to actually press the entire scroll wheel inside. this...
