I don’t know why all wireless mice don’t have this feature, but when you open up the battery compartment, there is a little spot in there to store your dongle so you don’t lose it! That did it for me.

Feature #2: It’s Bluetooth enabled so I don’t need to use it unless I’m using keyboard or other devices.

Feature #3: Unifying receiver so you can connect up to 10 Logitech wireless devices.

TIP: look for the “unifying icon” on any Logitech device so you don’t have to buy a mouse (or keyboard) because you brought the wrong dongle on vacation.

I’ve been buying Logitech mice for years. This
is my fave.

Amazon Customer: Was looking hard for a Logitech mouse comparable to my old M510 in size and comfort, but with better build quality, and more modern. So I almost ruled the M650L out because of the different dongle, but happy to have decided it didn't make that much difference to me. Was also concerned about the 'silent' feature, but there's a nice tactile feel to it and I'm learning to appreciate the silence.

Just delivered a few hours ago, and I've enjoyed using it; it fits my medium sized female hand like a glove just the way I like to use it with my palm leaning partially against my desk.

My M510's wheel was just getting a bit old and seemed to have a mind of it's own. This new mouse I feel in total control of, and it glides smoothly across my mouse pad.

If your looking for a mouse that's similar in size to the M510, I highly recommend this one, especially if it's on sale.

Eva: After using a Logitech M325 for nearly 6 years, when that finally started having issues, I immediately looked for the same model to replace it. I felt like that mouse was almost part of my hand, so I hadn't thought about upgrading even though I got a new computer in that time.

But I decided to look a bit, as that old model seemed to be obsolete at this point. I decided on the M650, and I didn't even realize the breadth of features before buying it, though I thought it might be useful to expand capacity with the side buttons.

But as soon as I started using it, I was blown away at the increase in speed at being able to press buttons to go back and forward and even create additional gestures to do other routine keyboard commands, especially copy and paste.

As I type in a non-standard Dvorak keyboard layout, running copy/paste functions isn't as seamless as with the QWERTY. The copy command requires pressing the equivalent of Control + i, so it uses the right hand, same as I use for mousing. So I'm constantly going back and forth from keyboard to mouse to do things like this.

But somehow the M650 additional features are related to the keyboard input...

Shulamit WidawskyShulamit Widawsky: I like this mouse, but I have two concerns that have me replacing it.

First the good: The size is excellent. My hands fit men's size large gloves on account of length, not thickness. A small mouse is a pain--literally and figuratively. The size of the M650 L is just big enough to be comfortable, while keeping itself as small as reasonable for a large mouse.

It was a little challenging to figure out how to get to the app that makes the buttons programmable, but once I did, programming the buttons was very easy. And I was able to program the buttons to exactly what I wanted. You need the app, Logi Options+ to get the available features.

I *love* the quietness of the mouse--this is the best part of it. Wish my keyboard was as quiet as the "clicks" on this mouse. When I'm presenting at a meeting online, it's really nice to be able to click my mouse without them hearing anything. (Wish the two side buttons were as quiet as the main buttons.)

Now the bad: I chose the blue color because a black wireless mouse can be a challenge to find. It's not like you can just follow the wire back to the mouse that fell into a drawer or got stuck in the upholstery of my big...
