Loctite 4-Gram Ultra Gel Control Super Glue Bottle for Strong Adhesive Bonding (1739050)

Munchk: I love this glue beacuse the consistency is pefect to control in small scale models. There is a similar produect by the same brand branded "ultimate control" but that was too watery. This is actually much better to apply with a tootpick in small scale models.

Two warnings to avoid somethings I did that ruined the bottle (my error)
1. Read the instructions on how to open it. DO NOT CUT THE TIP OFF (oops!) It has a twisting mechanism that punctures the tube and then you are good to go.
2. Do not recap this when the glue has spilled out and the tip is not clean. It will seal the bottle and you'll have to break it to get it back open.

CoolRunninJACoolRunninJA: Super Glue works amazing. It has a twist on cap to break the seal and does not harden or get stuck in the cap. Have used it quite a bunch to fix little things around the house and on my car. I used it to glue a few torn rubber seals on my car and it has held up pretty well. I love Loctite products... they seem to work really well.

Songovstorms: We use this at work to fix game pieces (I work at an escape room) and it works incredibly well. I decided to buy some for myself and built a tomato trellis with some of this + bamboo stakes and twine. Time will tell if it holds, but it looks good right now. My only qualm is that one capsle doesn't come with a ton of glue, but I'd still say it is worth the price.

Robin D: I've been keeping the adhesive in the refrigerator to preserve it's chemical stability, only drag it out on rare occasions. Seems to work. A hassle to use, but no worse or better than any adhesive. Biggest battle is removing the cap after the first use (have to use two opposing pliers to force it open with leverage). There seems to always be enough adhesive left on the dispensing nozzle to make the cap stick no matter what I've tried to avoid it. Maybe it's just me, but I doubt it. The 'price of doing business' with any adhesive.

Redacted: I ordered this particular super glue because the only shoes I had on a outdoor contract blew their stitches 2 days and 10 miles before the contract was set to end. Fortunately I did have cell reception. So I ordered replacement boots and this bottle of super glue to hold me over until the new boots arrived. My hasty googling in the field identified this particular variety as the best all-around choice for general purpose and shoe glue.

I'm happy to report that that hasty research was correct. This glue was amazing for making the necessary repairs to the blown stitching as well as some preemptive repairs to parts of the shoe. I use barefoot style shoes so flexibility is very important. The adhesive bond allows for flexibility, which is excellent for this type of application. Note that it doesn't flex to the same degree as the original stitching, this did take a little bit of adjustment but it's pretty close. The durable flexible bond is one of the features that sets this glue apart from other super glue options and makes it ideal for shoe, leather, and miscellaneous fabric applications.
