LiYiJJ Digital Alarm Clock: LED Time Display with 3 Alarm Settings

Branton Wilcox: This is the first time I've actually taken the time to write a review, but I believe this is needed.

I first bought this clock on July 16th, so I've only owned it for a month, at first there wasn't any problems and I really enjoy my clock. I love the wood texture, and really appreciate the other features it has. I had no problems with readability, and loved the touch feature where I could touch it or make some noise and the clock would turn on. However, just before the first time I had to replace the batteries, the clock face stopped working. That said, if I pressed any of the three buttons on the back, I still heard a noise which led me to believe there was still power, but I changed the batteries anyways. After I changed them, it took about two days before I could see anything on my clock again, but it worked after that. Once I had to replace the batteries again, just prior to that, I bought rechargeable batteries to use, so I wouldn't have to pay so much for batteries. Since I've replaced them, I haven't been able to see anything on the face of my clock, despite still being able to hear the sounds from the back buttons where you use to change the settings. Josh: I was skeptical about getting this but I am very glad that I did this little alarm clock is amazing not only does it have sensor to where you can do a two clap and it turns on but it has 10 different sound settings all the way from a beeping to Lilia siren to cuckoo like bird coming out of alarm clock it's amazing it also does have three alarms which is great because I don't like getting up it also does constantly every time turns on switches from a military time to regular time as well it is also very easy to adjust the volume or brightness on it if you need to though the clock will turn off after about 30 seconds but all you have to do is clap your hands like it's a clap on and it'll turn back on for the display this was an awesome purchase for me I am very happy thank you!!!

Anna: The two starts are for looking nice, and showing the temperature. From here on, this clock makes no sense whatsoever. It is puzzling to me why someone would design something so obviously flawed. Even more puzzling is the positive feedback. I guess people don't expect much from products these days. OK, let's go down the list of flaws, and that word does not adequately describe how I really feel about this clock.
1. The clock switches from displaying TIME to displaying the current YEAR. When that happens, if you want to see the time, you have to wait for the clock to switch to showing the time. So let me explain again: The clock displays the year 2021 for over 5 seconds, and during this time you cannot see THE TIME. As my grandson pointed out, unless I've just awaken up from a COMA, WHY THE HECK do I need to be reminded of what year it it every few seconds?!!! If I want to see the time in the middle of the night, and it shows the year, I have to keep my eyes open for 5 seconds or so before I can see what time it is. That's enough for me to wake up fully and not be able to go back to sleep. REDUCULOUS FEATURE. May be good if I had dementia and suddenly really wanted to know what...

KDSDKSKDSDKS: Alright, I like clocks and I like globes. So when I find excitement or entertainment with a clock or globe, just go with me -- I'm still a child (at heart). The shipment with my new digital alarm clock arrived, I thanked the Amazon driver from a socially acceptable distance and went straight to unpacking.

The manual is concise and direct, a favorite as longer manuals don't always include more information. The USB power cable is long enough to power the clock while still being tucked out of sight, the 4 AAA battery compartment allows a cable free usage as well.

There is a multiple level brightness that can be adjusted and a couple display options to choose between, I prefer the first display option as I like the clock to always being shown, the other display option allows the LED to display for a moment and than turn off, repeating the off and on process. While it might be more of a use than I found, it was great for me to show friends that when the LED is not displaying it's nearly impossible to see the backside of the front clock face.
