Paul Garvey: The length of the hose is great. Saves dragging the vacuum around. The attachments work well, although the bristles of the round brush were too tight and plentiful to work effectively. I ended up trimming a third of the bristles away from the intake. Also, be sure to use the attachments vs the hose end itself as this is soft plastic and wears easily when worked on abrasive surfaces.

Lorne King: Used for draining sump hole on a 1/3 HP pump over a 25 foot distance and handled the outflow adequately. I added a piece of hose of the same material and diameter from a shop vac onto this system and gained a bit more versatility.

Robert: Able to connect hose to my sump pump securely. Will have to wait to see how long the hose will last without leaking or cracking. Hope the coupling is as good as the hose. The changing temperatures and water levels in the sump tank will be the challenge for the clamps and thus the hose connections.

Pedro Alves: I purchased this hose to be plugged with the pump that I purchased together.
I got the pump and in the same ad was this hose that was explained to be compatible with the pump. once I connected noticed that the parts were not compatible and therefore needed to use 4 men holding the hose, the pump on the aquarium and another on the plug, another on the sink, and the water came out, ruined my floors ,....
I have the hose in the box as i can't return it now. the hose is not compatible with the pump, seller is your fault as you should not place the ads with those pumps

Jason R.: I used it as a temporary extension to the outside discharge of one of my sump pumps. Quality is fine for the money. The inner diameter of the pipe is not 1.5 inches, however the end of the hose does fit snug into a 1.5 inch rigid pipe and does the job. It comes with two threaded fittings meant to adapt the pipe directly into the threaded output of a pump however I have no need for them and can't comment on them.

The hose is a little stiff coming out of the bag and doesn't bend to the shape you want easily, I had to weigh down the end of it in several places with stones to keep it on the ground. Not a big deal. I feel the price was fair for what you get.
