Overall this is a steal but the lamp is very weak. The little pink drimmel drill is a great choice for intro to DIY nails. You really don’t need anything more to do great gel or acrylic nails at home. The tool are as expected in a kit like this. The lamp is a another story. It’s not strong enough for me. I use full cover tips and gel and find is slow. I will keep the kit but wish I had gone with a stronger lamp instead of buying the kit. My old lamp went out and this one just doesn’t quite cut it. 😞

Do not waste your money on this. I didn’t have the highest hopes for this but thought it would be good for me to learn to do my own toenails by myself at home. NAIL LAMP DOES NOT WORK. Lights come on but don’t cure the nails. I waited 5 minutes under the lamp and it would not cure them. The drill is SO CONFUSING to put together… I fiddled with it for 15 minutes before I figure it out. The bits hardly work. Like I said, I didn’t have the highest hopes for this.
