Drew Fash: This was perfect for restoring my childhood rocking chair seat. I wanted to conserve the chair by keeping the original flattened out cotton batting on the chair. I simply laid this foam over the batting and recovered it with new identical "pleather" covering and the seat is as plush as the days I used to to on it as a toddler. Came out just how I wanted it too.

rathraven: I needed a firm 4" cushion to use after hip surgery to elevate my seating in the car and at home. This is perfect! I also purchased a king size waterproof pillow protector to pull over it as a cover, in case there is bleeding through my dressing, etc. So I can wash it easily. The cheapest option available, and good quality!

Why did they gave it four stars?
The reason is because I ordered 2 inch thick pads. However, out of six ordered two were 1 7/8.
And yes you can feel the difference between the two chairs that has 2 in versus 1 in and 7/8
Yes, I could have returned those two pads but I was in the middle of the project. I didn't feel like to extend it for another week.
Other than that I really love them. Way better what was available at local stores
