3" Thick Upholstery Foam Cushion, 24" x 72" Size, 44ILD Firmness

Ohio454: 6x24x72 foam Arrived on time. Packaging was easy to remove and expanded to correct size. It was easy to cut with a serrated knife. I would have liked it to be 25 inches wide but to fits the cushion covers fine. It is a good product and will buy again when need cushions replaced.

Willis: Not sure what to say except to say that it matched dimensions, and, it's not cheap garbage. Very satisfied. Would recommend. Would buy this again. I bought "Firm" because my dad wanted something to lay under his old couch cushions, because the couch cushions were merely supported by wood slats (no springs or anything), and, he could feel the wooden slats through the cushions. Cushions were beat down but he didn't want to replace anything. Problem solved. "Solid comfort" were his exact words when I asked how the new foam was working out for him.

Greg Holsclaw: I was expecting them to smell and such. But I was pleasantly surprised that they have almost no odor and puffed up immediately. They are quite firm, which is fine with us. They are quite similar in stiffness to our futon mattress from Ikea. These will be used occasionally for camping and are better than a blowup mattress.

shaunnamonnashaunnamonna: Our guest bed is a German bunk bed so the mattress has about a six inch gap on it. Originally I wanted to just fill it but decided to add a headboard pillow instead. This foam was absolutely perfect. Not that it matters to you, but it was the exact size I needed and it felt magical, you know. Like when do you ever get the chance to buy exactly what you need for a diy with no leftovers??

Anyways, I used the 24x72” (5” thick firm) to made the gap filler pillow (the white one) and then added a second pillow that overlaps the mattress a little (the teal one) to add more of a buffer to the floating shelf. Since adults sleep on this bed, I wanted to make sure no one hit their head on it, as it’s a little intrusive.

The firmness was perfect, soft but really supportive. When leaning on it with a good book in hand for a while, it didn’t buckle or sink and I never hit the little shelf.

As far as working with the material, it was really easy to cut. Since I got the 5” thick one, I had to make multiple passes with my trusty snap blade, but it when through with ease. Some tips though: mark out a line on three sides to make sure you’re staying perpendicular and...

Holly: We replaced one 72 inch section of our L shaped couch. (2 cushions.
Couch bought from Big Lots in 2015)
It is firm but with a bit of give.
If using on a couch I recommend removing the cotton(?) covering on the old foam and putting it on the new foam to add comfort. I did not do that at first and it was kinda hard firm. Good for sitting but not lounging. With the cotton part it was perfect!
I would say $50ish for half the couch being replaced is a good deal verse hundreds for a new couch.
I will also note if I didn't have the cotton part I would have needed 6in thickness.
