Charlie Brooks: Possibly the most handy gadget I've ever bought on Amazon. I'm a former scout, and having a flame and a blade in the same tool is so useful, I'd feel like a caveman if I lost it. The blade is perfect for opening packages and the scissors are great for snipping the ends off freeze pops, just fyi. The poker is, well, pokie, and great for things that need poking. The screwdriver bit is useless, though. I recommend throwing that part in a tool box before you lose it. The lighter fits better with that bit removed anyway.
Anyway, I love this thing, it feels good in my hand and has the flashy look of a zippo without the lid (or refilling). Highly recommended for smokers, survivalists and practical, prepared people.

yuki: This enhances you experience for a smoker or an EDC. I had to buy extras for my brother and myself. The knife we use as a wax tool and the screwdriver as a poker. For our papers and cutting off tags we utilize the scissors. So having this in your EDC doesn't take much space.

Wayne Baker: Where has this been all my life? I think I remember reading that this product is made in the USA? It sure feels like it. Very solid! I work in construction and I tend to break everything around, tools, phones. I'll probably break this too but I wouldn't dare blame anyone but me. I plan to buy 6 more of these for myself, one for every day of the week and another case for my friends. Love love love this product. Get one for yourself. I saw some of the negative reviews and I think they're being way too picky, for what it is....? Nothing else would compare. Razor sharp too, I tested the scissors on my fingernails and "snip". Works great for that emergency broken nail, really impressed with the scissors! Best functional pair I've used on any type of multiple purpose tool, and it's a LIGHTER THINGY. Only use genuine BIC lighter, I would take one of those into the Yukon as well.

GG: Without the lighter everything was accessible, but with the lighter in the scissors can be hard to get out. I didn't have much trouble getting the lighter in, but it seems it will take some force to get it out. Also it seems I can't access the bit with the lighter in. I assume I need to give it some room, but the lighter is too tight. I'm sure it will be fine once the need exceeds the trouble. I did sharpen (hone) the knife a bit, and it works well. The scissors take some work to chew through paracord, so they are not like victorinox. But the knife gets it done no problem. Haven't yet used the little screw driver thing. I would recommend.

Limu o Ewa: The sleeve fits the standard Bic lighter very snuggly. In fact it can be a struggle getting it back out -- which is a good thing because of the peace of mind it gives knowing that the lighter & sleeve aren't going to separate unless you want them to. You can use any object that is sturdy and long enough to push the bottom of the lighter out of the sleeve. A used disposable chopstick worked for me.

I haven't used the poker/mini screwdiver blade yet but it seems as sturdy as the other tools.

The scissors were a pleasant surprise in how precise they were whether nipping threads with the tips of the scissors or cutting through soft paper like facial tissue. The lever that you press to activate the scissors is thin, and that makes it a bit uncomfortable to use for any length of time, but this isn't meant to replace a pair of fine scissors. That's what fine scissors are for. But they will come in handy for all of those little jobs that show up from snipping errant threads, to opening a bag of chips, to trimming candle threads....you get the idea. The scissor's spring is similar to a pocket knife's spring. There isn't a coiled spring-steel insert between the two levers...
